if you ever get as much experience at trials as Dave Thorpe has you will be a very lucky man. He knows what he's on about.

    Leaking Spokes

The best cure I have used is to clean the rim well and put a dab of grease on each spoke end. Wipe the rim tape with a thin coating of grease as well. Putting a tube in is not a necessary and it does reduce the sidewall flexing thus reducing grip
  5. Does anyone know any results?
  6. Does anyone know why trials bikes are designed with the air intake at such a low level under the seat. Is it not possible for the airbox and fuel tank positions to be reversed so the air intake can be up above the water and mud levels near the headstock. Is it just because in spain and italy where they are made it is not a problem they need to worry about. In the uk water and muck getting in the airbox is probably the main cause of engine wear. Common sense says put the air intake up high but would this affect carburation Mark T

    200 V 250

I ride a sherco 200 in club, centre and national trials on the clubman route (including the ssdt). It is rare to find a section that it will not cope with and i find it far easier to control than bigger bikes. I think most clubmen riders would do better on a little bike than the 280,s etc that are capable of world round sections. Try a sherco 200, you will not regret it
