    Rims and hubs restored. Starting on the re-lacing.

    Here are the wheels before rebuilding, nasty, nasty. Time to remove the old spokes, measure them up and send for a brand new set of stainless ones front & rear. Strip the hubs & brake plates down to bare metal, 3 coats of primer, rub down with 400 wet & dry. Then 2 coats of satin black. polish up the rims as best i can and order new tyres front & rear

Hi, Yes it would fit fine, The alloy tank is held in place firstly with a strip of rubber wrapped around the frame cross member which holds the tank in possition by friction when tank is pressed down onto it. Secoundly the fibreglass tank shroud/seat unit is bolted through the frame just behind the steering head and secured with rubbers at rear which further restrict the alloy tanks movement.
