  1. Yes.They couldn't help and referred me to Lewisport who is yet to answer my 2 emails after a week.
  2. .I am the owner of a 2011 Ossa tr280i in Ontario Canada. It has the original rear hub bushing/bearing setup and it is need of a new bushing. I believe the skf # is "pcmf 353916 e".I know that there was a kit available at one time to convert the hub to bearing/bearings with a new pair of spacers.Does anyone know where i can obtain them? I tried local bearing suppliers, but they have a minimum order of $255. Thanks,Ric

Thinking about this some more.I was wrong.

I'm well aware which side of the seal is pressure. (retired hydraulics tech) I have always assumed there was "some" pressure on the inside of the bearing race.Oil can't be compressed. The other side can.My Workshop manual doesn't clearly illustrate.Need input from someone else.Or...i could be wrong.

Pretty sure the seal is correctly installed. The oil pressure is on the bearing side, not the crankcase side as per usual 2 stroke design.

Those strips look like they are from installation of the original seal.If the bore it fits into has a really sharp edge,it will cut some of the outer rubber off.Be extremely careful with the tiny o-ring installation.(i use heavy grease to keep it in place)If it doesn't seal properly or blocks the oil passage, you will for sure damage the main bearing.

I used a piston from an old hydraulic foot pump with a few nuts and bolts.
  10. I have a 9v battery on my 2011 wired in with a "kill switch". Get your tps and idle set properly and you won't even need the easy start.I never use mine.Starts 1st or 2nd kick. https://birkettmotosport.com/ossa

Anyone know something about the TLM? A friend is interested in one.I know nothing about them.
  14. I found an oem cable for sale (minus the software) on the weekend. But the price is over the moon.
  15. 2011 models required 3 bearings and a bushing.Subsequent years required 4.
  16. +1 for the Jitsie pre-filter.To remove the rear wheel, remove the axle and lift the wheel up a few inches. The caliper stays on the brake line and the rotor stays on the hub.A wee bit tricky, but you'll figure it out once you do it right.
  17. Mine had to have about 4 new welds done last year.I think it was from the missing lower right bolt putting too much stress on the mounting bracket. It's been fine since then.

    ossa stopped

Black plug doesn't mean very much.Sounds to me like the tps is way off.Or the temp sensor is bad.
  19. Where did you order this from? Do you have a link?
  20. Not a great idea to measure the removed bushes.Take the parts in (or measure them yourself) and have the parts located from the catalog. For instance...i think this is the rear wheel bushing on the 2011. http://www.skf.com/group/products/bearings-units-housings/plain-bearings/bushings-thrust-washers-strips/bushings/table-bushings/index.html?designation=PCMF 353916 E
  21. The SKF bushings work fine when lubed.Disassembly is easy.Bushings are available.Someone else will chime in with part numbers. tsiklonaut?
