  1. Them bikes were fully sorted though! sounded great, even after they were trashed they just ticked over like a swiss watch!............. very cool
  2. Can't find any mention of no backpacks anywhere else, be a hard on to try and stop I would imagine.
  3. BBC forecast: http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/5day.shtml?id=3662 Metcheck: http://www.metcheck.com/V40/UK/FREE/14days...code=Shropshire I use both of these for my other sport, both have been known to be wrong in the past but metcheck is never far away.
  4. Never knew Bikespace was helping out then
  5. I know what your saying RS, there was a book come up for auction recently and I think it went for
  6. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...4564623762&rd=1
  7. Just out of interest Stu, how much is it going to cost you to ship the Beta back to blighty? and do you have to drain the fuel out etc.
  8. just sold a SY 250, I love Yam lump and the TYZ lump is very good maybe not as good as the Beta rev3 (but I would say that wouldn't I)the only flaw in the TYZ engine I can see is the water pump sticking out too far. I would say the Beat engine has better gearing and a more torque in the motor than the Yam......I would imagine Birkett would say his TYZ engines are great....he's doing it for a living
  9. Cheers for that Stu bought it the other week, just doing a few jobs on her then I'll post a pic
  10. As said before, the key here is a heat gun on the wheel hub, can do them in about 15mins now. make sure you locate the mid spacer right though when knocking the new ones in.
  11. Has anybody got the manual (that came with the bike when new) for a 2002 Rev3 250 that they would be willing to part with? Thanks in advance guys
  12. Bidding on some at the mo on ebay, looks like there going to go through the roof though so I give them a miss......checked out his website and the guys selling them
  13. Well done on beating Elwyn The bigger the 4st motor the more of a kick they'll have. Allot of folks think the TLR 200 is a far better bike to ride than the TLR 250 for this very reason..... Stick a good two stroke in a high gear and you'll level most mud situations and have the power to back off and bring it back on again. I would have a good guess and say the Sherco 4st is more "snappier" than alot of two strokes
  14. My old TLR 250 was the same in the mud..crap! There is a knack to riding a fourstroke in the mud for sure, I don't think you will beat a nice smooth two stroke for it's overall ease of use in the slippery conditions...very forgiving motors. The 4ST lumps can be very lumpy which can become a handfull in the slippy stuff. WM....I'm suprised you can get your's started for a run in the mud...everytime I saw you at S/Shrops you struggling to start it I shall now duck for cover
  15. Pulling flywheels off for guess (sorry dude, couldn't help myself)
  16. I always thought that trials riders change there own tyre's If you can't change your own tyres, don't moan about it when someone charges you money to fit one.... BTW. IRC rear
  17. Got to be the best bike you'll ever own http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...4561199500&rd=1
  18. Looking forward to it mate, just come back from your old stomping ground...crossgates cafe for a breakfast run we came from the cafe and went into Hereford then headed out toward Clee hills
  19. Hi Stu, Hows the baby mate?...I'll know Sunday evening if I've got the bike, it's tied in with a deal with my Scorpa and my dealer friend is doing all the leg work........I've been up to see the bike, is a 250. I would have liked a 200 but moneys a bit tight at the mo so begger can't be choosers I don't think there is a great deal of differance between the model years anyhow........I'll keep the pressure washer thing in mind, but I must admit thats all I use when cleaning my bikes mark
  20. Cheers for the info, I'm in the process of buying an O2 rev3, do you know if the unit is like an upgraded one (say off an 05) or is it another 02 unit?. Does anybody know why CDI's are prone to giving up? heat build up maybe? Cheers Mark
  21. The odd one ! now yours make 4 ? sounds like most of them are having probs to me . How many 175's have Scorpa UK sold I wonder...I havn't seen one here in the Shropshire welsh borders. They should have never stretched the motor out to 150cc, it ain't built for it!. My 125 was fine no carb problems than other guys seem to be having....
  22. Dude, use your noggin a bit and check out the back postings on the Scorpa forum There is everything you will need to know and how to do it, it's been done by guys who own the bikes and it does work....failing that...if your not up to doing the work yourself take it to a good trials shop who sells the brand and they'll sort it.
