  1. Sorry guys, a little bit off topic but, how many acu classic rounds are left...been on the acu website but it's not very easy to navigate. pretty sure all the rounds that are local to me are all done. Whats the average entry to a miller round these days?? I entered one on the clee's a few years ago by mistake on an aircooled mono, almost got beat up in the car park...;-)
  2. Thought about the TY175 frame and running gear Woody, there's loads about and right money too... my only concern would be height in the frame for the lump, I'll have to get me tape measure out on the 175 and the 250 frames.
  3. Yes Lesgamble, thats the sort of thing I was thinking about, don't they just look lovely...better than any TLR eh To buy the complete machine of Mr Bliss is quite expensive from what I've been told, I was thinking about doing something myself with and exsisting TY running gear and looking into buying a lump off Mr Bliss, I think the engines were going for

  5. Fancy doing something a bit different, I've seen a pic of a fourstroke engine in what looked like a TY twinshock frame, lovely looking machine. I understand you can buy Chinese engines (Honda copys) off John Bliss for right money, I've heard one of these engines running and it did sound very sweet. Has anybody put a fourstroke engine in a yam frame?? any major problems? Cheers Mark P.S don't want a TLR, just fancy something different
  6. o/40 yellow route these days, I've got to think about work on the Monday Agree with Andy about too many routes per sections, very easy to go the wrong way and get a five....and the queing is such a bore. You have to take your hat off the the guys who mark out sections with the foresight to try and keep the above hassles to a minimum......
  7. The motor sounded very sweet mate, good price on that new motor too ... Spency and Buzz and the rest of the South Shrops lot always put a good trial on they just seem to get it right first time, I think they were saying there putting on eight or nine trials this year inc the Long Mynd road trial which should be epic....get that bike road reg'd and lets have a bash at it . Llanfyllin also put on some good events....to be honest there the only two clubs I bother with these days (even though I couldn't make the fabled two day recently..sorry BS!)Good to see you again Andy and looking forward to hearing that Fourstroke on the 16th July
  8. Just like to confirm the bike does look and sound very nice...unlike the rider Well done Andy, nice to see at the South Shrops event the other week, they have got there own website now, sure to be a piccy of you on there m8. Check it out at http://www.southshropshiremcc.co.uk/ Will we be seeing you at the next SS event, July 16th I think ?
  9. It's all in your head !, just get on with it Some guys are well paranoid about tyre wear, I've seen tyres that have just about had the edge's took off thrown in the skip because there 'worn out'....fine if your name is dougie lampkin but your average club joe ?
  10. Forks = Blue Frame = White Front Mudguard = White Rear Mudguard = Pink Seat unit = Pink with green seat Tank = White all bove should have some horrid graphics that used to fly off at the first sight of a jet wash, do an image search on Google.

    Oy Rappers!

What is the criteria for getting in ? There does seem to alot of folks who get in year after year with out any problems (average joes, not superstars) just lucky maybe ?
  16. madproffesor, any cahnce of a pic ? I'm sure you will have lots of interest. I could not find anywhere that still does the old fabric tank covers for my old mono tank not would it come clean either.....in the end I bought a new tank
  17. I think Steve Goode has some in stock http://stevegoodemotorcycles.co.uk/index.html
  18. You can talk Marky G!!! You're still trying to get rid of the excess eating you had at Christmas .... Christmas 1998 I mean Yeah I had a pic too. Nice touch I thought. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not sure what's worse, the pi55 taking, or the sympathy You got no mirrors in your house Mark? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Took all the mirrors out, kept seeing you in them BS.....eer hold on a min
  19. Just had my results from two recent trials I rode with CWAC, what a nice suprise to see a couple of photos inside (of me at each trial) with the results (heard they had to get a A4 envelope for bikespace ) Lovely touch, do any other clubs take photos of all the riders and post them with the results ?
  20. Sorry to have missed it Daz, had some work stuff to sort out I would imagine that it was a cracker if you guys had something to do with it
  21. Very valid points there SH, The South Shrops club local to me always look after there observers with goody bags of food and some local riders (myself included) will get on and finish the trial early take over from an observer and finish the day off. I think alot of people are afriad to speak out when a trial isn't so good for fear of being slagged off, we all know organisers put alot of effort into the sport but lets face it we all are asked to pay up to
  22. Its just there seems to me there is an imbalance in the finances and I have proposed a way in which to address that. By all means suggest another if you dont feel its appropriate? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Spoken like a true business man there Ian :madsanta: I suggest it's fine the way it is....
  23. Glad I had a weekend off by all accounts
  24. Where do you draw the line ? before you know it anyone with an interest in the club would be getting a free licence. lots of folks with lots of different pastimes do it for the love of it......if your going to do it but then moan about it maybe you shouldn't be doing it in the first place.
