Thanks for replies guys
I went to jasc but i have dial up and it said 2hours 30 mins to download so i've not done that yet. I have adobe and the tutorial tries to access the internet then says it can't find server The iso settings are interesting my instructions say i have iso 400 so i'll try that then i'll try adjusting flash. if i can resize i'll post some pics so you can see my problems first hand
Can Andy or anyone give me some advice please. I've took some photos on my sony dc10 but when i download to my pc they are each 2mb should i adjust the camera before i take the pics or can i alter the photos on my pc so i can e mail them or post them on here without it taking 10 minutes.
While i'm asking if i take a photo of a moving bike it comes out blurred if i change to a different shutter speed the pic comes out dark. Any ideas where i'm going wrong?
i installed mozilla and got that message at gasgasshop. i tried to download but still nothing worked. when i switched back to internet explorer everything works fine ?
Not sure if it helps but it works for me
Thanks for the advice lads it was spot on.
I put two plates in also found clutch cage was loose? i hadn't touched it but could only move lever 1" then it went solid when i first rebuilt it. I spoke to Gas Gas and Kev said clutch cage was probably loose.
It now feels like i have no clutch
Ishy's Undies on Ebay
Sign a few pairs before the bin you might be famous or put some up for prizes in TC trial
Andy could win for worst photo or least charged battery
Thanks for the reply.
As a lot of people will be, i think, i'm totally in awe of the Scottish and anyone capable of riding it. It's brilliant to get the insight and tips from everyone who is and has participated.
ps throwing away underpants and socks after wearing them once may well get you on celebrity cribbs
Just curious Ishy do you take bring your own bike over to the scottish or do you get one over here?
If you bring yours how do you transport it? remember reading somewhere that you can take a mountain bike on a plane in a bag all stripped.
Same with your kit. how many pairs of boots will you need for the week and jackets and pants? surely must be near or up to baggage allowance limits.
Cheers
I've not experienced tyres coming off the rim. But i do remember seeing rims with self tappers going through to hold the tyre as well as security bolts. Makes a mess of rim and tyre though. Have you had your rear wheel rebuilt? could be the rim is dished differently inside... for a tubeless tyre perhaps. Not sure if that makes any difference but someone else might
Going to comment on the lack of a decent standard of rugby in Ireland. But after the fantastic display on Saturday against my England hero's i'll keep my mouth shut. I did play in the forwards so i'm quallified to reply.
Did all my ligaments 2 years ago. Had surgery ( holes drilled through Knee and wires inserted) but i'm back riding. Not to a decent standard unfortunately but thats nowt to do with the knee
Stick in at physio and keep up the excercises the pain does eventually go
we had a little snow fall in the north east of england this week. only six or seven inches but my footrests were filling up with snow and freezing. couldn't keep my feet on them. i have a gas gas with hebo footrests usually really good.
any suggestions for improvement?
i have an 02 pro and up untill now clutch has been fine. i've had the master cylinder seal mods carried out and clutch has worked fine.
Now clutch is becoming heavy and feels stiff to pull lever in. Has started to drag now as well.
Any ideas guys?
i drove a discovery for two years and it's the best vehicle i've had. it's like all cars/bikes if they cause problems then you tend to dislike them. Anyway i could get my gas gas pro in with the rear seats down but one half of the handlebar and a part of the front wheel had to stick out and door had to be tied. Gordon i was at Pauperhaugh trial and there was two lads from Consett with an ex water board defender long wheelbase. They even rode up a plank to load bikes they were sat inside having coffee and looked pretty warm and dry. Anyone seen Don Smiths book where he has a two bike rack going up his boot/roof on a Cortina?
for some reason american gas gas site recommends 350cc and uk gas gas site recommends 400cc for the 02 pro. i,ve ran mine and my mates run theirs on 400cc but we do change often. probably every 4 weeks. have fun refilling cos the filler hole is tiny and it takes ages. i made a small funnel from the screw on nozzle of a mastic gun. some people use squeezy bottles.expect a fair bit of swarf on the magnetic gearbox drain plug. thats usual depending on how often you change oil
