  1. you edit your videos as fast as you drink
  2. I like Hebo pegs as they are wider than some pegs, comfortable and really strong. However in my opinion you can't get a better foot peg than Raptor. They are wider still, rarely clog with mud and are really really strong. All pegs, i believe, on standard hangers foul the kickstart, you need to carefully file the kickstart to clear the pegs. I have put raptor hangers on, they are rear set and the kickstart misses the foot pegs. The down side is reaching the rear brake pedal becomes a stretch, as i was bending rear brake pedals every other week at one point i've fitted a billet shorter rear brake pedal. You can reach it no problem but you loose a little bit of feel when braking.
  3. you could try trialsbits.co.uk
  4. Why would you want to rev it out fully when it's first started/cold
  5. Can be one of those jobs that takes 10 minutes or hours and hours. Pushing the fluid back from the bleed nipple to the reservoir could push the seals in the master cylinder back on themselves. I hung the bike from the garage roof by the front wheel getting the reservoir as high as possible and get the brake hoses in as straight a line as possible. Air bubbles are trapped where the hose enters/exits the swing arm. Bleed the brake with the rear brake pedal, gently tap the brake hose in between, then finish off by pushing in the caliper piston with the bleed nipple cracked open. It can take ages, good luck
  6. It's Friday 1st May and Saturday 2nd May
  7. If the engine overheats there is whats probably best described as a ' limp home mode ' Bike will start and run fine up to 2500 rpm then rev limiter cuts in. Letting the engine cool down and the ecu returns to normal. Ride it, take your gloves off and feel how warm the fuel tank gets, then you understand why the fan is on so much
  8. Did you buy it from new? If not and it's been running fine till now look back through the forums, someone had a misfire and it turned out to be the fuel pump.
  9. Mine let in water worse than any boot i've tried, they are really small fitting so to get them to fit with inner waterproof 'Booty' thing you need 2 sizes larger than normal. Waterproof 'booty' thing just covers your ankles so anything deeper than that and your feet are wet Soles are really good, i generally wear the soles out in the footrest area, but Diadora's are reinforced there.
  10. Why not just put bashplate back into shape, and save all the stress on the bolts
  11. Do you want to sell 2stb...or does it just talk smoggie?
  12. Consett DMC have work well underway preparing for their first Wednesday evening trial to be held on 2nd July. Start is 6pm. The trial will have two courses easy and clubman, excellent parking facilities are behind The Knitsley Mill pub. Bluebell Wood (previously only used in the Spring Trial) will have 5 sections and a new venue in the woods surrounding the fishing lakes at Knitsley will also have 5 sections. Working closely with local landowners has enabled the trial to incorporate the two woods without the need to use the public road. The pub is open for a refreshing drink after the trial, all welcome!
  13. Was just looking at my chain last week and thinking the 08's have a different chain to previous years because mine isn't stretching nearly as much as they used too. Anyway be careful fitting larger snail cams, they are thicker and don't allow the spindle to go through the nut as far as the original adjusters, moving the screw in the original adjusters is the way forward ....and it's a lot cheaper, or buy a new chain with what you save on new snail cams
  14. Hi Glen I'm great thanks you always lurking in these Montesa forums, you've never been the same since you rode my bike Don't suppose you have anything to do with the fuel crisis in Scotland, saying as your not going Hope the new baby takes after you in everything but your looks mate
  15. 07 repsol comes with programmable throttle body only 08 doesn't
  16. could try putting some clear plastic, like technosel on the cover, mine is badly scratched from boots already
  17. 05 rear silencer is much thinner that 07/08 silencer The top edge of silencer cover is half as deep again think your new cover may foul your rear mudgaurd when you tighten it up
  18. Just put 5 1/2 " renthals on

  21. Be interesting to hear your views considering how long it has taken you to see the light
  22. 08 has totally diffrent cable to all previous years Earlier 4rt's you can see the clutch hose phyisically expand when you pull the lever
  23. 08 clutch is beautiful, really light too use elf oil in gearbox make sure clutch adjustment leaves a little free play when in gear give a whiff of throttle and it'll start no problem, when in nuetral no throttle if bike stops mid section, i.e. with throttle open, fully open throttle and kick over once slowly, this resets the throttle body which obviosly still thinks its running in open position, shut throttle and kick over, or slight amount of throttle if in gear
