Thanks for the reply. Upon checking the free play I discovered the slave cylinder had issues and the Circlip was broken. I replaced th slave cylinder an it appears to be good now.

I recently got a 2005 sy250 and it has some issues. The clutch seemed like it was slipping bad and the lever felt like it would hit a notch whenever it was pulled all the way in to the bar. I figured I would change the master cylinder and the plates. The new master cyclinder feels the same and the clutch won't engage. If the bike is on the stand the wheel spins and it shifts normal but as soon as a load is placed on the wheel t acts like the clutch is slipping.. Could it be the slave cylinder is bad ? I haven't looked at that yet and it's not easily accessible.
