Well hello ladies and gents, I have just sold my Monty 315R Lampkin and bought a REV3 200 2005 bike. Are there any mods which are worth doing? Any problems to look out for.? The clutch doesn't drag but have already looked at the mod for when it comes apart. Im going to dump all the fluids and refresh the brake master cylinders and clutch. I am slowly reading through the beta pages but any pointers will be much appreciated on this bike. only ridden it for 10 mins on firm level ground. I am, I would say a novice rider (for trials) but an ex track racer so not new to riding a bike. is there anywhere to cross match vin, engine etc numbers? Are the user handbooks available to download? thanks, Paul

well mine was on the bike when i got it. but had a major strip down and clean the other week (thats how i found it). i have no adapters on. it was a pain in the ar$e to get together again, but its there and seems to run fine, although not ridden properly due to work.

which carb should my 2003 315r have as standard fitted? it has a kehine PWK fitted, serial no. 73RA2 NDR is this correct? ive been reading about a different model fitted and wondered if this was an up/down grade. cheers, paul

well im 37 and 71kg mate and come from short track racing, many broken bones and aches and pains lol. i bought a montesa 315r lampkin for my first trials bike. a good sturdy bike with honda build quality. vrery lively and caught me out a few times but dusted it off and carried on. i got a late 2003 bike, in mint condition for 1100 quid, just had the forks and shock done, stripped and cleaned the airbox, filter and carb whilst off. a good cheap first bike which i imagine ill still get 900 back when i get better and upgrade. cheers, paul

Hello to everyone, my name is Paul and im fairly new to trials, I used to be a club racer in Thundersport, but after some naughty crashes and cost, i sold up last year. By xmas i was bored and needed a bike, i have always loved watching trials so bought myself a 2003 315r lampkin rep. withing 20 mins of getting it i had wheelied in straight into a wall.. oops. anyway, i then bought my son a gasgas txt 70 so we could go together. i like in wakefield so we usually go to bumpy, but have a new job in Tidworth in Andover and currently looking for somewhere to go down here. We have a MX track built on our training area which im currently arganising with the big bosses to allow me to make sections on when its not used for enduro. I class myself as a complete novice even coming from recing as this is a completely new animal. but very fun, hard work and cheap. i hope to learn new things from the forum and its members.. cheers ladies and gents..
