It's the crank case on the left that's destroyed, do you know if they are the same for the older models? Cheers

Hello can anybody tell me if the main engine casings from a 1974 ty250 will match up to a 1978 motor. The left main casing on mine has been attacked by some eejit and is full of holes around the magneto. All I can find are listed as 1974 models. Would like to keep the numbers matching!
