Same problem with 02 rev 3 200. Tried swapping coil, cdi,cleaning carb, new plug,different fuel mixes and ron ratings. All that happened was the pinking moved up and down the rev range! Sorted by the nice guys at Robinsons of Rochdale. The Stator had corroded and was the cause of the problem.
