  1. cheers guys, eventually found the problem it turned out to be the regulator, managed to get the bike starting by bypassing it altogether and joining the 2 yellow wires which were goin into it so it means i cant run the lights till i get a new one but, hey, the bike is running again woo hoo
  2. right so I have a txt 280 a 06 model which i was out on one day and it cut out as if it ran out of petrol although it was full, so i checked and there was no spark. at this stage I am about to crack up i have checked everything and thought it was the cdi unit which i changed at ahuge cost only to find that i still had no spark. the only thing i can possibly think it might be is the thing on the flywheel which sends the signal for the spark, does anyone know if these thing can wear out or break or if they have to be a certain distance from the flywheel, cant find anything online about it. Head officially wrecked
  3. I'm in bother, I bought a txt pro280 a few weeks back its a 06 model, i was riding it the other day and it cut out as though it was out of fuel but upon further inspectioin there was no spark, it's not the plug or any wiring checked everything, I suspect it might be cdi unit/coil unit. has anybody had this problem or similar
