  1. If its a gas gas trial shock it should be no problem.
  2. Yeah that will do. DId have it in my hands (friend forgot to put his back on after tanking, so he borrowed one of mine, but forgot to look at the O ring. Will do this afternoon or tomorow.
  3. Yeah he does. Do think he mainly focusses on (extreme) enduro this year with Yamaha. And he gots good competition the last couple of years.
  4. Yeah people tend to cramp up (make them selve smaller on the bike) when doing things they find difficult. Head goes towards the bars, people cant see towards the horizon anymore. Its easier to show in real life than to explain, but I hope you get the idea.
  5. And riding over things like a curb is like mentioned above look forwards, not to the obstacle. THink rope walker, look where you want to go, but not downwards. Dont get a cramp body positioning but stay ''open''.
  6. I can take a look tommorow. Is 2011 the same as 2009 and 2008? http://www.thehellteam.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/small_image/258x245/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/b/t/bt800000530121.jpg
  7. Fans are on quite often, so its a bit difficult to say if yours is acting normal or not. As long as it does not trow out fluids, and has enough coolant and runs normal there should be no problem. Nice cover, read somewhere other you made it your self? Care to share?
  8. Glasses are wrong way, your not getting lucky tonight I quess! Maybe if you give her a bit of oil, and some wax, lube her a bit, fill her up I will stop here
  9. ''I heared in order to start at a trial you need to subscribe to the event and take a fart for the observer?''
  10. Thats how it works nowadays, see KTM etc.
  11. lol, also check when you buy one for ''unnecessary'' decals around the head
  12. Step by step Better to have the techniques right, than have ''lucky'' attempts. You might create a way in which it works for you (not bad per se) but you might have the overal techniques wrong. If you want to progress with all your riding you better have those basics good.
  13. Dont make it more difficult than it is. you are not allowed to ride somewhere where you already have been... thats meant with the rule.
  14. That engine in a enduro bike frame (lets say a WR )!
  15. Its natural, and it also happens in other sports. One side feels comfortable and is the first to work out for you, hence you practise that side more often. Practise practise practise. Stop practising fun stif, learn what you cant do yet! I myself play hockey (on ice) and can only brake excelent towards one side. The problem is during a play you will use that side because you trust it will work out, but I have to practise the other side very hard.

    Trs Vs Jgas

A lot of parts look the same on bikes, because they are made by same manufacturer. Trial companies dont make forks. cilinders etc. For the rest I think the ideas are the same, which is not strange because of the developer.
  17. Those bikes can be set quite easiliy in the wrong neutral. So between 2 and 3. Than it will get into gear by itself. If the bike is off, put in first gear, move it back an forward a bit and then put in neutral. Never ride without an airfilter!!!
  18. Like mentioned above, timing issue. Had some fun with an oldskool twostroke streetbike once near the trafficlights!
  19. Yeah thats what I thaught. So adding 40mm of oil in the forks might be the difference between now and before.
  20. Our first national championship day has been won on it. Also last season a couple of riders were doing great with it. But I must say those guys would have done good no matter what bike.
  21. I agree with above, sounds like you use your body but forget the feet. How long have you driven/experience? Somethimes people are too stiff because they are ''scared'' or cramped on the bike. You need to feel comfortable, try smaller steps, dont try to make it all the way in once. If you dare (and have the ability) make a video for us.
  22. Yes another front fork topic! I have a 2005 40mm front fork, adjusted by reiger for a 85kg rider # 1040: Gas Gas Trial, 2005 spring 4.4 Lk 120mm rider weight 80-85 kg. Now I rebuild the forks with new seals etc, but I think it feels lighter/softer. I used 5 oil, would 7.5 make a big difference? Also I set the air chamber on 160mm, and now after looking at my mail (the part in blue above) i see 120mm, that beeing the air chamber? Would a decrease in airchamber cause a stiffer fork? When I first installed the fork, it felt really really stiff, after using it a couple of times and taking the airscrew on top out (pressure came out of it) it felt stiff but good, like I wanted it. So I am trying to aim it in that direction again, and because nothing else changed it must be ether the air chamber or the oil thickness imo. (I swapped the forks because http://www.trialscentral.com/forums/topic/51562-front-fork-2008-gas-gas-pro-paiolli/?hl=%2Bfront+%2Bfork )
  23. Those forks are still serviceable ''the easy way''. I would suggest taking them appart fully. So take the bold on the bottom out, and you can take out the whole insert. IF you want to change the seals take out the innertube aswell and give it a good clean. Than put bake together in reverse order. Put in the innertube if you took it out, insert seal etc, put the insert in, bolt at the bottom, than you can start filling it, set the air chamber (pump the rod some times to take air out), put in the spring and screw on the toppart, screw in the top cap and done.
