That could be, they do make noice a bit always, or there might be something wrong.
-
That is not right, should move freely. But if that explains your problem, if it sits on top the carburator would not get enough fuel since it ''thinks'' its full enough.
The other part which could be bad is the needle which is situated behind the big threaded tube on the right of the picture.
-
BTW are you sure its fuel? Not coolant, since this happens quite alot. The waterpump erodes and the seal lets trough coolant into the box, causing some problems and dirty looking oil. Milky that is.
-
THe drive gear is ''loose'' on the crank (once the clip is removed offcoarse). However they tent to be quite stuck somethimes, I cannot get one off on one of my bikes.
There should be a tool for this, I once heard.
-
Might have been differen systems on it in test stage or something? Some more parts will differ from the first ''proto'' bikes. (like exhaustst)

There is a motorcycle faire this week here, so it will probably (most definitly I must say) be there. I will have a look at it.

UPDATE on my recent trip to the TRS factory in Catalonia, and the arrival of the first TRS units to the USA.
The facts - As we base our USA business completely upon honest factual information, we feel confident to now release some details about the future of the TRS brand here in the USA.
Now in our 25th year of the Trial business in the USA, and two years with the TRS brand during the period of development, this move into the actual Import and distribution of the TRS brand motorcycles is something that we are very proud of. The actual details of this status are as follows:
1) We have all of the USA government approval from all agencies as required by Federal law. (This is complicated, was started many months ago, but could not be done until actual photo images of the final product were available as required by our government. This was very time consuming and detailed work, and it has been done.) 2) The TRS factory in Sant Fruitos de Bages (Manresa) Catalonia (Spain) has only just begun actual production ten days ago. The first 25 units were built and immediately distributed to importers that were close to the factory so as to get rapid feedback from this first batch of production machines. 3) The facts are that every TRS machine built has been incredibility reliable and even the very first pre-production prototypes are still going great with no problems of any kind. This process has been taken step-by-step to ensure a final production model that is trouble-free and performs as expected when delivered to our final customers all over the World. We know that this has been a long wait but this process was necessary to develop the machines and verify that every detail is within our goals of quality and performance. 4) The next step is another production run of machines that begins next week, but we still have some time to go before these bikes are available 'on-demand' to clients all over the World. The absolute truth is that there are many machines that are already sold in many countries, and these first machines will go first to the importers to evenly distribute the production machines for testing and press purposes, followed by in some countries, bikes for sponsored riders. Finally, to deliver machines to those final customers who have already made a serious commitment for purchase, and this makes perfect sense. To be clear, we have not yet formed any kind of "USA TEAM" and have chosen to put our dealers and customers in front of any possible sponsored riders. - If you are waiting on a TRS One for your personal use, and you have ordered one from one of our dealers, rest assured that you are in line in the exact order (by date of order) - The great news is that thankfully, our esteemed USA dealer network have all stepped-up and months ago they pre-ordered machines for demonstration purposes! The very first machines to arrive to the USA will be sent here to our facility, directly from the factory via air freight. This will reduce the shipping time by about three weeks. The truth is that at this time, we have been allocated only a few from this next production run. We have arranged for Shan Moore of "On the Pegs" magazine to travel to our facility for a visit and a test with our USA representative and test rider Jesse Wellenstein. Depending upon how many machines actually arrive, we will be distributing these to our USA dealers so they can have at least one unit for demonstration purposes as soon as is humanly possible, as well as filling the orders for the "pre-sold" units. 5) We know that many people are expecting these machines to have already arrived, but the facts are that we have never made any promises about delivery dates. The facts are that there is a process to developing a new brand and completely new motorcycle. To do it correctly, it takes time, and Mr. Jordi Tarrés is a perfectionist, and we are very proud to say that he has been 100% hands-on from day one, and his dedication to detail and precision has no equal in this business. The facts are that we are actually a little ahead of schedule at this time and are very pleased with the work the factory has done. I have just returned from 15 days in Catalonia and witnessed first-hand the efforts and dedication that the personnel at TRS have for this brand. I am very pleased and 100% satisfied with what I have seen. It was a pleasure to spend some days with Jordi Tarrés, Adam Raga, Pol Tarrés, Marc, Paco, Alicia, Bernat and many others. 6) I have spoken to some of the other importers who have just received bikes from the first production run and they are ecstatic with the results of the first rides on the new TRS One.
Now we wait, but not much longer. I will keep everyone informed as things develop. It is happening, we are very pleased, now we begin to move forward!
Best regards in sport, Jim Snell - TRS-USA

First one arived in our country

It needs to be in a standard bike to make it interesting I quess. The margins are too low (or the bikes become too expensive).
Reiger e.g. also makes shocks, but no front forks (only adjusts). Probably rear shocks are easier to make in such away they are modular usable. People spend money on rear shocks, not on totally new forks.
In the MX world is more money and a bigger market probably. And also there you see that brands adopt forks in their standard products (everything orange comes with WP offcoarse, but some Yamaha's used to have ohlins e.g.)

Yes. Its trial, MX, enduro and Rally. Its also really the only one available in the Netherlands on offroad bikes. Still have to read the Vertigo article though. (toilet material )
/
For the rest the article is prity standard, explains some features, and is positive (could have been about any other brand really)
-
I quess a EU licence is actually only valid if your national agency (or how its called) supports that. Here in the Netherlands for trial non-nationional or european level you need a destrics licence or a basic motorsports licence. This licence is also included into other licences for motorsports. So I have an offroad licence which is also valid for training on MX, enduro, and trials. However not for dutch championships, and other countries. However they do state that somethimes your allowed to train on other grounds abbroad, however you need permission for that.
So maybe they will allow, but you might have a problem if something happens.
Here almost no bikes have registration or road insurrance. We dont use roads...
In the licence some small insurrances are included like if you hit a spectator or something. Other participants are excluded of everything!

I would advise an older GG edition (2000 2001). Great bikes, almost indestructable. Good grip, enough power, not too aggresive.
For ''new style riding'' (hopping etc) any newer bike will do, but calculate costs for replacing parts (any brand really).
-
I think batching is the way to go in this type of fabrication. The rest of the time is restocking, pre-assemble parts, preparing the factory for the new batching (other model in this case e.g, enduro?) etc. Will be the most economic way.
Your option is to take as much time as is available to produce the bike? So dont use electric equipment because that will make the workforce too efficient?
MR Honda (and others for that matter) dont do anything different.
I think there is enough demand for GG bikes (to make up the stop), so they will be delivered straightaway accross Europe and send to other parts of the world. Furthermore parts need to be restocked around the world to be able to deliver service aswell.
And if there is still workforce left, the workforce is too big, or they need more work (maybe produce bikes for MR tarot)

There is a review in the dutch magazine noppennieuws (knobby news or something translated )

Very very very nice to follow! |Thanks

Those are 38mm forks I quess. I dont know by heart, so I cant help you with that.
-
New gear, put together, oil in it and ride!
Altough its not really much work to put new bearings in her now she is open. (still old setup on the 2003)
-
Isnt that the definiton of Nitro Circus. I wonder however if its really a visitor or just an act.
If its real I think its really stupid of them, stunting is taking risks, which is not something you do with your visitors. (done plenty of shows)
They have a show here in Arnhem, but its not for me....

They are normally standard sized. There are different bends available to fit propperly. Could be MX bars.
I would not recommend bar risers, make more use of your leggs. For medical (or age) reasons I can understand, otherwise I would not use them.
-
Is there no breather hole in the top? Because thats why forks have them!
-
If you put in two 1.3's your under 10.
Again first search finger hight, its also very important (maybe even more). I can explain it here, but has been done before (often) so I dont really see the point in that.
To help you a bit on the way read e.g
http://www.trialscentral.com/forums/topic/46534-pro-clutch-friction-plate-challenges-current-oem-clutch-packs-are-too-thick/?hl=%2Bfinger+%2Bheight#entry338662
Dont get confused too much, but measure and tell us your fingerheight (and see drawing in topic for how this is measured).
-
Not to be an ass, but, reading some other topics about the clutch might help out a lot.
But you are on the right track, those measurements are really really important
Also search for finger hight!
