Its a new designed engine (but, almost logically, with features that look a lot like the GG/Jotagas design (or even sherco))
-
Normally? That they sell chocolates or beers
-
Jitsie also has good video's, they have a special guy for their media. (offcoarse a bit colloured)
-
I like diversity. Locations in Spain and Andorra etc are really amazing too if you ask me, but there should be some off everything.
If you look at Europe the Southern part (Portugal Spain Italy, but also Croatia etc) is mainly rocky like surface. But Poland, Germany, Romania etc (just to name some) have far more in common with riding in the Netherlands or the UK.
In the Netherlands we had some reel sand non stops for the EC, which made it quite difficult for some riders who are not used to it.
-
Belgium is on the map again! So probably yes.
They still win though
-
-
Like your big pootpegs, what size boots you have?
lol
-
I think raga already uped its game his last rides on the GG. The kick in the nuts probably made him work even harder.
-
I think he means have it ready to often. So sometimes you have to be in a position where you cannot directly use it as the picture depicts above.
-
I must say, imo, this is on off the races I have followed least.
Too many speedzones, not a lot of navigation tracks, just fast WRC-like speed race. The wheater does not help this year. Hope this week there are some real dessert style days.
-
Nice story!
I quess the front forks could also be just adjusments needed for your style, and weight etc.
-
I see your way in finance thinking neil, however Im not sure if it works for this kind of niche markets.
And as always in investing its interpretation and there are always ways to make its seem profitable, but sometimes common logic will help more...

1. Yes
2. No
3. Only a bit enduro style trials riding, but still on ''closed'' lands.

Wow, thanks. Didnt notice that!

Although humanly impossible indoor steps give guite good impression of the teqniques because its around the highest steps possible, and everything is solid, and angled. So this might help too, somehow get it to go slow though.
-
I wont do any spoilers offcoarse.
Who are you guys following?
Offcoarse I follow the Dutch riders (there is this nice page http://www.trackingdakar.nl/live.php )
In all classes, and offcoarse the top 20 riders.
Furtheremore, naturally,Laia Sanz (ok is also top 20 rider).
One memorable rider is number 111 sylvain espinasse riding a 125cc 2 stroke bike, still in the race!
Too bad a couple of the Dutch top riders in car and truck fell out because of fire
/and manuel luchesse, I follow him for some years now. Great story about him (couple years old)

Suspension is one of the most important things, in combo with your body position and movent. Try jumping the obstacle without motor.
(not totally what you want)
See the body and suspension movement launching the back wheel high into the obstacle.
\forgot the mention the disclaimer, we are not world championship proffesionals like raga
-
Changing the preload does not do anything exept well, change the preload. The shock stays the same length.
In my reasoning the shock hits when you jump, and the swingarm is going down. You can check this by measuring while standing and taking it off the ground.
-
You should always be able to cover the rear brake otherwise your standing wrong. But I do not always cover it, as long as im able to get it. You can practice it by doing wheelies and brake.
-
Probably the clutch aint the problem, its your own movement and weight position and deweighting. There are a lot of videos about trial techniques also on this forum.
The photo you state from google is quite a big rock and perfectly vertical. Not an easy one to proceed. The trick will be in the suspension, your own body movement, and offcoarse enough throttle and good clutch control.
-
One solution could be (not saying its the right) is to make a longer ''dogbone''. So replace the red non v shaped part.
/Now I thought about it. Bottoming out whould cause the V link to go up, and would make the gap between the V and the damper bigger right?
-
Just by some normal medium trial grips of domino, s3 or some other brand. They do go quick, but have good grip and are thin enough.
-
Yeah, derbi falls under Piaggio already for 15 years. They havent produced trial bikes for even longer
-
I have seen it before somewhere yes. Thanks for the info.
I used to have a moped, way fun good memories.
