Friend of mine had the older sherco, and the mains died, because he did not use the bike enough. I guess the open bearings ran dry and maybe started getting rust on them? Sealed ones might prevent this?
-
Google it.
Even got a movie for you
-
Also old tanks (for cafe racers etc) have this problem nowadays because of the new gasoline...
-
You mention the bolds come loose, so a leak is logical then. So the problem must be in the bolds or your tightning?
-
I use a italian sort of creme for my sidi boots which is also used for soccer shoes. But are those forma leather? they look like a suede or something.

Total brake and clutch control helps a lot with standing still. You should not have to think about using the brakes and the clutch, its should go naturally at some point. For the rest the before mentioned body position is important, and offcoarse practise. Also practise while driving, uphill, downhill, before small obstacles etc. You combine balancing with usefull other practice and it keeps it fun.

Although not completely sure if its fits your ''painted'' parts.

I know the 2002 pro airbox was really bad, and they changed it. I think also electronics ran trough it? The 2003 I have not had problems with on numerous bikes, but we might have weather differences, we do not ride creeks or something overhere.
-
But the airfilter is really different aswel. So if it has the ''bowl'' airfilter its a pro, if it has a side flat airfilter its an edition. (among other differences)
-
Could be that the 2003 model (or 2002?) has a different design. 2004+ has this design (probably with a reason)
-
Maybe the plastic became to hard, you can try a new one?

-
Beauty only ''needs'' other color wheels imo
Better just drive it! Have fun
-
You should clean the airfilter box and make sure the little flap underneath functions, this should make it able for water to drain.
-
I expect a change this year. YOuth is stepping up. Old will fall. Bou and raga? who will tell but almost certain stil p1 and 2.
-
I must say it did not look so much in need, but nice job!
-
-

Something like this would work
-
And change grips when they are damaged. Most common problem of dirt getting in.
-
-
I agree with the above list. The toni video is well, not very good.
-
Go and test ride it, only you can decide
Is the repsol better? depends on your skill level and taste, easiest answer for me is no, probably not.

Well the inside is quite easy just measure the fork. The outside should also be able to find out if you know the possibilities. Take the dust cover off, and make a guess.
