Cant you see that? Its a tired dog!
-
Ask guys that do make it for advise. Its quite situation specific.
General rules:
Weight on the back (the front wheel does not plough you trough.
Accelerate where it is possible, keep going where it is too slippery (avoid needing throttle)
-
A little can be normal. Has to do with the design of the clutch. But inspection might be a good thing.
-
It has the same reference number by xiu
-
I always take the cap of the trottle and check if there is a small bend in the cable when turned to left and right. Not too much, but you want some free play.
-
-
But that should probably also be hearable when not reving it (high).
Not a carb problem on high revs?
-
No, you will want the clutch fingers high (within the specified specs)
-
-
Some technology, network, name?
-
I quess they dont buy it, on first hand, for the trialbikes production.
-
also notice the gear has a timing which has to be correct.

You are right! I was thinking there is no oil on the ignition side, but offcoarse thats why the hole is there.
I had no further troubles appart from missing one seal...
Fryday I go further!
Strage thing is that normally when somebody would ask me I would be 100% and while being bussy I started to get confused. Now everything is back again, lol.
Maybe it was time for a break.
But thanks for the answers.
-
Yes I know yes but the other way around. The clutch side has the hole.
But the other side bearing is the same but you just dont use the hole right?
\I will check now, im home where I have the part fiches
My fiche shows the old code MT280412006
Which is replaced with all in one MT31000CT2811 so both sides are the same

This I already know but in the battlezone you start to doubt somehow.
Back to work!
-
Busy in my ''shed'' but not sure about the bearings.
Confirm wether both left side an right should be the same, on one the alignment is important the other not? (new style bearing)
Normally I would answer yes but I am questioning myself dont know why.
Always feels like open heart sirgion lol.

There are special apperatus for measuring coils, it has a sparky thingy in it, I use to use one at my old job for mopeds, where they often got broken somehow. Only works if the cdi and coil are loose parts.
-
I always put the bike on the ground with the airfilter out and a plastic spacer on the filter place. Close petcock!
Than I powerwash the worst part of, and than I use some cleaner and let it soke alittle and then blast it off. Start and ride some afterwards. (add new filter first)
-
Its doable (yourself). There are companies that do it but I am not in the US so cant help you with that/
.
Although simple shocks most often dont have a valve to recharge them, so that needs to be added to the shock in order to make it work.
I dont know what shock we are talking about here. E.G I rebuild my own CR250 shock, which was quite easy (but lots of info about the shock in question on the web (and spare parts available)).
-
Kill switch?
See if the spark plug fires?
-
Yes, Im not saying the short term, result seeking way is the best, but its reallity in most cases.
We will see in some time I quess!
-
Bike didnt overheat?
Bad coil is possible but usually happens more often then (when a little hot +- 15min or so)
Maybe the carb was run empty?

Questionaire of what people want of a bike
-
-
I understand that, but like you mention, that only works if one guy is able to pay for it. If the company grows and shareholders come into the game, they want a profit...
