not trial but related.

Yeah, happens somethimes! Great that you fixed it. A little bit of cooland loss after filling it happens and is no problem, but the fan should start turning around that point.
-
I put in 380
too much can kill your seals
-
But why buy an eco and then try to build a ''normal'' one, there are plenty of bikes for sale right?
-
Well I would first put new plug (with correct point distance), clean the carb (and write down the jet sizes).
Start simple...
Also heard some people put the bike flat before starting it, have no experience with that though
-
Guys please act normal, this does not solve anything.
For the ts,
Here your see a picture of the inside behind the kickstarter cover. The gear is quite short as you see, actually only 5 theeth that really do the job. Thats why you will have to press the kickstarter down until you feel the pressure. (The first movement of the kickstarter you are putting the gear forward, when the engine is running the half gear will fall behind the round gear, because the full round gear is spinning offcoarse.)
If you kick the kickstarter to hard from the top you will beat the two parts into eachother very hard and thus killing it eventually.
Put pressure on it first with your feet, than look if its high enough to be kickable, otherwise losen it again and redo the trick. (the 2nd picture shows the phase from where you can kick it without damaging it). The third one shoes damage to the round gear.
-
They need to be able to breath (or leak). I always put on one hose from left pipe to right pipe. And then cut the tube halfway for like 1 cm open.
-
I use a
to hold one of the pistons, than use the brake to start moving the other etc. than it will come free and you can clean the sides of the pistons a bit. (i would not press them out totally)
I can offcource explain that you didn't had to damage them, but well, you did. I would now dismantel them and take them appart totally and replace the seals. Since you already damaged them, better fix it now for the long run.
-
Also use tieraps to lock your mudguard in place, these will brake easier most of the time so saving your mudguard

The number is there. This is the bearing behind the kickstarter. In the casing is no bearing, only a seal.

THe thickness of the whole package is very important. Cooland can make the plates swell --> thicker --> clutch wont work correctly
Measurements:
No less than 9.75mm and not more than 10.05mm for the plate package
and from the end of the fingers, to the clutch housing should be +-17.1 if i remember well
/ found the picture for you

Nobody knows where i can get non-apico frame guards for the 2008 model?
-
This is a discussion about (we say in dutch lol, louis van gaal english its a thing) apples and pears.
Inexperienced rider vs experienced
2 total different bikes
All have their pro's and con's, in my oppinion its all about the fun YOU have with it.
A german bloke in bilstain belgium definitly outperformed me on his yamaha dt, with a big smile and great fun!
But shall we keep this topic about the vertigo bike?
-
Water can definitly kill your clutch.
And probably there is a crack in kickstarter/clutch cover. THats why the seal can drop out easaly. It happens somethime...
-
Possibility is that your fan/termostat, or something in the electric system is broken.
If you give the fan a spin when its hot does it start turning?
-
I must say those bikes look biliant
What does a ecu gearbox?
-
There should be (from out to in) a circlip, the sprocket, bushing, o ring 1.5mm o ring 2mm.
From the inside this falls into the 2nd gear and its selector and 2 half neadle bearings.
How did you replace the parts?
-
Make sure the timing of the gear on the shaft is correct. Than put the spring in the shaft. Put it in the hole in the engine, 1 clockwise turn, and put it in all the way.
I have never done the bearing,
You need bearing MT280226067 according to my part program
-
Most often the half gear itself will break

In europa though, dont know where you live, but you can probably find yourself a site which is close to you.
Note that other spring will need adjustments of rebound and compression (depending on which type of shock you have) and front forks need adjustments aswell in order to balance the bike.
-
Or there is some air left. or you need to unscrew the adjuster a bit (travel is too short)
-
I have a stronger reiger spring on the back, I weigh about 94 kg, and this makes great improvement, but also the front is adapted!
-
On the older molder there is a sort of hollow bold which drops inside and over the brake pedal. I think it is the same on the new bike.
looks like

So unscrew it from the backside (side of the engine)

Thanks for sharing! Will be interested to read it, only have to find some time!
