Like said above there are two ways of killing the engine. Makeing ground to the cdi, so 1 wire to cdi other to frame/ground. (this if it is a connecting kill switch). The other disconnects, than you need a wire to cdi to kill the engine
-
But normally clutch problems are the other way around... they stick too much, or wont unstick.
Does your engine change gears?
-
Too much willcan take your seals out (or it will come trough the breather). Too less will potentially cause more friction in the gears etc so more wear. Its around 385 I always use. Depends also how good you managed to get the oil out. I dont fill up more than half the glass.

Me and a friend went there on saturday to scout a bit around. We slept at a hotel near Liegge. We decided to put the car near non stop 10 in a village, and took the mountainbike to Non-stop 5,6,7,8,9, 10 and later went with the car to 3 and 4 (awesome in the canyon), and 11 at the end. 11 was an amasing hill climb to end at the top of a old cemetery on that hill.

You can see the zone at this picture a bit. They had to climb the left side.

More = Better
So if you have a crappy door to a shed, make it better. More locks. On the inside maybe some defence, which they cant see from the outside. This might scare them off if they get in.Everything that costs time will help a little.

Yeah, I would definatly repack, or you might put the muffler on fire while welding, and probablu it needs repacking anyway.
-
Take the old one out, by removing the circlip (and handle or the small thingie inbetween with the spring and rubber cap). Make sure you dont lose the big spring inside. Put back in a new one and make sure there is enough fluid in it.
You have thios one ?
http://www.splatshop.co.uk/ajp-master-cylinder-seal-kit-9-5mm.html
Than it has gg part number BT27722208
I would compare them, and if they measure the same put it in and go ride!
-
Its good weldable, only most of the time its a quite dirty job because of all the oil etc.
-
That will do, normaly its BPR5ES

And the logo is not only a sticker but also the metal is shaped behind it.
So the strike might be a logical explanation.
I think I will put my reiger gg 05 forks in this bike
-
I quess thats the right word yeah!
-
Yeah, its different and I think econo model is new frame (tubes)? But its a real 300, and does not have other features different. Also i think the eco uses sachs front and rear suspension.
The forks are 38mm, strange thing the upper clamps are the normal ones.
It was a demo model or so (price was cheap in 2008). Maybe they needed a fork for some client and swapt it. I askes gg usa, maybe a workers strike and some bikes came with different forks. (unfortunatly crapier forks)
-
Kill switch would be my first asumption, the rest is quite good protected. What did you do to the wires of the switch? There are connecting, and disconection kill switches. THe one needs to be attached, so if you want to take the kill switch out of the circuit than you need to connect both wires. THe other kills switches you need to disconnect the wires.
Other thing you can check if the sparkplugholder is still good attached.
Other things would be really strang, or you must have dropped the bike really hard to damage some other ignition stuff.
-
The bike was brand new in 2008, got it directly from the importer, thats why it is very strange. And i cannot find any picture of the same fork.
-
It looks like the beta, but it got original stickers (it was brand new) on the upper side, and there is a special flat space in the fork for the paioli logo...
I dont understand
-
attached a photo from when it was new
Look at the tripple tree, which is an older type.
My 05 does not even have that, older 2003 did.
on this rookie its also http://www.gasgasmuseum.com/bikes/images/2007/2007Rookie.jpg

I think it was a 2007/2008 overdated bike. (on the 2007 its states on airbox pro 07, this one not)
-
I got a 2008 gg pro 300, with a paioli front fork in it. But according to my knowledge a Marzocchi fork should be in it. I cant find any information on the fork.
On top it says Paioli R&D estension, and on the other one spring preload.
Anyone knows what fork this is?

I quess a tire chord must fit in a tube type. but I am not sure. Its basicly a chord made of some rubber, with and valve in it.
Maybe the rim is different, because of course the sides must not leak air aswell.
-
Quess you already figured it out, but the only possble place seems the kickstart axle yeah. The bearinglike thingie goed on the clutch cilinder, the other ring with the edge goes on top of the clutch, than put it back together. Lay it down to prefent fingers of the clutch sitting wrong, make sure waterpump axle is sitting right, and make sure you dont drop the clutch bearingring.
Also prefent clutch oil from getting into your engine. There should probably be mineral oil in the clutch system, but you dont want to have dot in your engine oil.
Measurements you can take:
Fingers to clutch hight
Clutch pack thickness.
Some things that could cause clutch drag:
Wrong adjustment of master cilinder
Air in system
Clutch pack too thick (see e.g. http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=904203)
