When you get it started from cold pull in the clutch but don't put it in gear and the plates will separate

gave it a good look over and all is well, started first kick and stopped it and restarted it with no problems, stalled it and it restarted
i bought it as a toy realy, too old to compete nowadays lol

i cant really advise to which year to get as ive only had mine 2 months and its a 2001 model, its superb to ride and im really getting along with it and its giving me confidence after not riding for ten years.
its a bike i always wanted and it has met my expectations, i was going over logs and rocks on sunday and it felt really good.
i think if you can get a newer model it has better brakes 4 pot vs 2 pot, better forks and i think that was the only difference, good luck with wichever you choose but im sure you wont be dissapointed

Left it overnight fuel of and on its side stand and it started ok , I lturned of the petrol and left it run until it stopped as suggested , happy days
-
ive isolated the fuel and left it on the ground, ill try it this morning. the fuel tank, carb etc have all been cleaned numerous times so im hoping its just the way its kept on the stand.

Got a strange one here, used the bike last Sunday with no problems runs like a dream, the last couple of days after its been stood overnight I'm having to drain the carb before it will start , once running it runs fine with no issues at all.
Should I isolate the fuel
It's kept on a stand with the back end higher than the front ( problem maybe)
Can anyone shed any light on this for me.
