  3. There is another way , you can remove a spring from inside somewhere, mine is ultra light now an useable ,i'm sure someone will post which spring can come out !
  4. Richard Allen who is based in Northampton also has spares for these, as he breaks Fantics . He is always collecting bikes for restoring or breaking . Try him his number is 01933 314145 . He would post anywhere

  8. Bad ! I wouldn't bother with one ,you must be serious to have a spare practice wheel- so you will have noticed that not many (or hardly any) riders consider this tyre option .

  14. No they are completely separate ,thank god or you might have to send your ACU licence away to get 3 points if you go the wrong way through a section Stat safe
  15. Try Richard Allens used trials spares might save you a few bob
  16. I think its a common problem, if its that bad after you put light gear oil in or whatever you choose ,the only way is to open her up and examine what the plates are like ,you could mix and match some secondhand ones to save money. Stay Safe
  17. Chris, I think you should be using mineral oil in the clutch reservoir and light gear oil in the engine , I use Putoline light gear in my Gasser. The clutch does drag slightly on tickover on mine also , if it still drags more than you feel acceptable you should examine the wear on the plates inside for ,A new clutch is about 40 quid! if needed Stay safe
  18. Hi ,I had these on my 2011 Gasser ,never had a problem with them and my son still has them on his 80cc,Recommended for the price which I recall 40 quid a pair ! Stay Safe
  19. Hi I have run at 70.1 for a long time with good results ,this is the way forward to feel comfortable whilst revving hard etc... Stay Safe
  20. Hi , Light gear oil should help in the long run with the new plates .... Stay safe
  21. Hi Gary, I would start with the engine and listen for noises that could mean trouble like bearings whirring and knocking , Then clutch operation check smoothness and operation then move onto the frame parts like swing arm bearings, with the bike lifted see how much up and down play in the rear wheel ,there should be none. wobble front and rear wheels for wheel bearing play although this is a cheap fix about 1.50 each bearing to buy. Check the oil sight glass for condition of oil and water contamination ,if its cloudy could need a repair kit . all items like brake pads and tyres are obvious and can be considered wear items which you can use to haggle a good price which suits you. if not walk away there are many others around. Stay safe
  22. Hi , I would sell it as I doubt it will ever be worth much more, you may get 700 quid for it which will give you 2200 to spend .eg.2011 gas gas 250 could be within reach which will hold good relative value for you ! Stay safe !
  23. Speaking from experience you can find a nice gasser for around 900 pounds ,might take a bit of time but one should turn up that fits the bill ! Stay safe!
  24. Hi, I find 70.1 is a happy medium to run at .50.1 is far too much oil although gas gas recommend this for some reason Stay safe!
