Wow thats really nice. Was hoping for between 1500 and 2K. Spent over 800 on engine rebuild.Maybe I will keep it.

I am thinking of selling my cota 247 and don't know what to ask. It has had a full engine rebuild with new bearings, piston and rebore. Also has had rear wheel rebuild and new tyres. New Amal carb. It is road registered and MOTD. Looks a bit tatty but mechanically Excellant. What is it worth Thanks

Rookie mistake, took the rear and front wheels off for work on them and didn't note how the washers, spacers and bearings go Can anyone help? Thanks Sorry forgot to say it's a 1974 vita 247

Hi Ive found that its the main bearings that are knackered so have ordered the bearings and gaskets to repair. A friend of mine who has had Montesas says you can change the mains without splitting the cases with heat and pulling them out. Has anyone tried this??? Advive would be great Thanks Hugh
