thought to justify more expensive fork if it isn't real better than standard ones.... Ohlins need a good new technology or something else like TTX forks (maybe not better example) on enduro
This black carbon deposits around wear markings indicate that this damage isn't new....
For shure you will have a much more stronger engine after new top end.
Honda reliability keep them loosing Dakar every year. Now Yamaha can take 5th from them. On quads is was a shame too. Not to mention moto GP, F1..... Big question: What happened whith HRC? It is a lucky thing?
Whitch base settings people recomend me for '15 Sherco tech forks?
Coil Preload?
Rebound?
And the compression end stroke adjustment on bottom of the fork?
I'm a 70kg benigner trying to hop better.
Tip: Not all manufactures recomend oiling their cables because incompatibility between mineral oil and teflon/nylon used like a hose around the steel cable to reduce friction.
If a cable has some drag, maybe it is time to new one.
The difference between standard and bearing is almost nothing. Maybe a better feeling (less play or flex in this area?) than more light pull.
In a blind test, probably there is no difference.
100% sure that I can ride harder and longer than 90% of people around (on motorcycles, mountain bike or on foot). But if I see a way to improve my bike (for almost free!!!), why not try it?
