This had been discussed here before. Today I had an mail from Sherco about their 30,000 ST bike produced.
"Currently some 3,000 bikes per year are manufactured in Caldes de Montbui, 90% of which are destined for export to over 40 countries. In addition to the Sherco models, all of the Scorpa models, a brand that is owned by the Sherco Motorcycles group are also manufactured there. In order to accomplish this production the Catalan manufacturing center has a staff of 30 employees"
3000bikes a year by 30 guys = 100bikes per people.
Their productivity isn't much better than GasGas (I think) have. 9000bikes a year by maybe 100 guys.
The big question is: Where all this 40M had gone?
