Sherco had new model (chassis) in 2017. They revised clutch too. Now diaphagm like gasgas pro engine. So, it is a more modern product. If this mean better product or not, it rely on personal opinion.

Power (torque) come from engine. It is'nt altered by flywheel. Flywheel is a rotating mass that can store momentum. It has two effects: 1) when engine is comming from a lower RPM to a higer RPM: Engine will increase rpm slower since it has an added mass to accelerate. It can increase traction due a less agressive behavior and it will decrease power burst you have using throttle. 2) When engine is comming from a higer RPM to lower RPM: Flywheel will give energy to system. Rotating momentum can be used to drive the motorcycle. An side efferct is the engine runnig in a more steady way when travelling during a rough terrain like over a bunch of loose rocks or loose terrain. On malleability deppartment, it can increase the "heavy feeling" on motorcycle just like we feel on a big bore engine. Check coils. Heat can sometimes change ohms reading on defective coils.

This is a very reliable carb. Partly due beeing well sealed from elements. There "O" ring on idle and mixture screws. The weired fitting may be something temporary untill rubber molds itself. Watch carefully factory recomendations (about ratios) since sometimes they care more for emissions (modern) or cold seizure (old) than engine life or cost. Their brand recomendation is another joke. It's a good practice stay on rich side (2%) because we never know when we will find a big uphill mountain road. (And more oil give better ring seal and more HP)

If nothing else work....Try closing reed valve gap a bit...

Especially bad in dissimilar materials like steel bolt on aluminium. Worse when alkaline soap is used to clean the bike (always look the PH before). Loctite, 3M and others have dedicated products to prevent bolt seizure. Worth a try.

S3 have a clutch cover for GasGas....maybe it is stronger....

Sometimes brake need some time to work propely after you change pads or discs. Just ride and have fun. After half hour it should be nice.

Bikepert, the white plastic part you saw in dogbones is a "thing" I made few years back when this bike was almost brand new. Your rear fender zip tie mod is a good practice. Will tell about it with a friend that keep breaking these fenders.

Yes, more HP and torque but.... unfortunately, all the effect disappear when you start riding and others see your real ability.
