  1. Yes, this is a good practice. Anyway, you should always wash everything after removing swing arm from bike. And, yes, when I wash my bike I never spray high pressure water in links area. This part is always dirt. I try in these videos keep things "real world" and simple as possible. The idea is give confidence to the one who want do the job first time.

  4. For newer models the filling bolt is at the level. Fill untill it overflow. Should be ~450ml
  5. Same Honda shadow fork seals....
  6. Probably, 52mm is the lower leg hole diameter and 52,2mm is the seal outer diameter. this 0,2mm is for interference fit.
  7. If torx T100 isn't available, be careful with improvisation a new tool since it can damage the finish. Protect it with a rag between tool and part. Probably a big nut will be able to turn this cap. Below the one I've made to formula brakes.
  8. ...I'm using fork boots (gaiters). They keep all mud and dust out of seals and give some protection from rocks. https://www.instagram.com/p/BjCt3t2Boo5/?taken-by=leocm74

    Sherco forks

Malcolm, you need to open the top cap and turn forks upside down. On coil side this will drain most of the oil. On dampening side half of the oil will be inside cartridge and it need be disasembled to drain oil.
  16. Hope sherco improve their aftersales soon....this is a shame for them.
  17. The impeller of my motorcycle had better days...and shipping from france to brasil take too much time. So making one was the obvious choice.
  18. Tech forks share same seals as honda vt600 shadow!
  19. Found that doing this way (not completly disasembling) old oil will be trapped on hydraulic cartridge. On coil side this can work.
