No - not at all. What I'm saying is if we can list all the available ones in this topic then I'll create a page on the front page menus linking to them so they're easier for people to find.
-
Never mind the forecast - look out your window!
I did! Woohoo!
-
I was there in 2004 and in 2006 (can't remember why I didn't make it in 2005, but probably work). I had planned on heading back down this year as I had a great time on my previous visits - location is positively idyllic, hotel was great and Trial was a good one for pics. I was looking forward to it, but for various reasons (mostly backlog of work and car not handling quite right at the mo) I'm not going to make it. Mind you - with the weather forecast the way it is...
-
If we can turn this page into a definitive list of the Trials games out there then I'll add a page to the main site menus linking to them all.
-
I'll PM you with the details guys. Probably easier that way as I'm still sorting out the subscription stuff that I boobed on last year
-
How did you manage it first time round?
-
Oh Lane, you really are losing the plot...
-
-
I was just about to reply the exact same thing!
-
You already have a topic on this subject in the Beta Forum which has been answered. Please don't ask the same questions in multiple forums - especially not when you've already had answers!
-
And for the record, Lane has not been banned. He's maybe thrown his toys out of his pram just a little, but definitely not banned. He's still welcome to post providing it stays away from NATC-bashing - which I don't think he's capable of doing TBH.

So Trials Central is only 1,094,511 places behind Google yet 2.4 million places ahead of Octagon's efforts. Must be my insistence on decent English
-
Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiceeeeeeee. I like lots.
One tip - Photoshop out the number plate on your pics. Loads of cloned Scoobs going about used for dodgy stuff.
-
Agree with you there. If it ain't broke don't fix it.
-
If you were a kid in the 80's in the UK - whether you were into Trials or not (and I wasn't at the time - I didn't get involved with the sport till, I think, 1990 and even then it was circumstances and not a personal decision that got me into it) Kickstart was compulsive viewing. It was prime-time kids TV and everybody watched it.
I've not mentioned this before, but I can see from the website stats what people type into search engines in order to find their way to this site. Kickstart, Kickstart BBC, Junior Kickstart etc appear every month near the top of the list. That shows the influence the show had on people.

PSST. No it doesn't. It's the day after tomorrow. If it's tomorrow, I'm in big trouble!
-
You forgot "Easier to shift than a Discovery"
-
I wasn't that taken with the current one either when they first came out, but I had a good look at a black one with the Prodrive Performance Pack in the showroom when mine was in for a service and it's definitely grown on me - but would have to be in black. Roll on July

Fair bit of speculation as to whether this is genuine or not. Not taken with the hatchback look myself.

We've been here before many, many times.
You get the Gas Gas riders telling you to buy a Gasser
You get the Beta riders telling you to buy a Beta
You get the Montesa riders telling you to buy a Montesa (see where this is going yet?)
The advice is always to try them all and see what suits you best.

Text talk on forums is just sheer bloody laziness. You have a full QWERTY keyboard in front of you and unlimited message length. There's no reason for it.
-
If I spot something off-topic (like posted in General when it clearly should be in a bike forum or UK or whatever) I'll move it and, sometimes, if I have the time, post a reply saying it's been moved to the correct forum. It's a good guide to the poster to take more care over where they post without insulting them. The moderators will move it, but rarely post any kind of message saying they've done so, but might PM the user telling them where to find their topic. Flaming for being in the wrong forum is not something I've seen - unless I'm missing something!
I would, however, actively encourage the flaming of any muppet using text talk

A Wiki is a website or part of a website that is a collaborative effort where anyone can contribute to make information available online to the masses. Best example is wikipedia

Spotted them and isn't that a certain Rapley bloke crouching to take the pic?
Look at all those poofs in their hats and coats and the Jock in short sleeves.
