No. I went to delete your reply as it contained text talk which, as you know, is not allowed on the forums. I accidently deleted the entire topic instead.

I think Kinnel's suffering from the male menopause
-
A tad unfair on Ben. He had BIG boots to fill. Jim and Doug had worked together for years. It was always going to be daunting for him.
On another note, as Mr. Galway's self-appointed manager, all queries regarding his availability should be carried out through me. He is very busy out-of-season attending hen-nights and other ladies-only events due to his obvious sex-symbol status. We might be able to fit some training events in, but be warned - he doesn't come cheap!
-
I'm totally ignoring this topic as I get enough requests for IT support from my parents.
-
This seems like a good time for John or Mick to explain the insurance and litigation reasons for having membership if they're so inclined. It's probably in the handbook, but it's becoming apparent folk don't read that as a lot of it isn't relevant to Trials.
-
I deleted a topic about Rob Andrews not entering this morning. I also saw a topic posted then requesting deletion about Jack Challoner not entering saying it was sorted.
I think posting topics to provoke a response from the parties is totally the wrong way to approach things. It is far better to approach them privately by email or telephone than to force a response by posting on a public forum. By all means update who has entered, but bear in mind these guys are largely self-funding and at this stage of the season they may simply not be able to afford yet another trip. Posting publicly is only putting pressure on them to attend.

I've got one of the most rare photos EVER. Big John buying a round...

Now I'm back home and getting on top of things, the results were sent to me by Dave Willoughby at 17:30 on Sunday night. They were sent again by Ron at 19:27 on Monday night. As I said, I was at a conference in Barcelona from Sunday till today, hence no publication here. I go to two of these conferences a year and it does mean I don't have time to do Trials Central stuff.
-
That's because I'm currently sat outside a hotel in Barcelona enjoying my morning coffee There are not one, but three sets of full results sitting in my Inbox, but real life job is permitted to take priority every now and then.
-
I was emailed about this, but without hard fact, it's all just supposition and there's nothing I can do or say. If there are cheats out there then, as I said and as has been pointed out, they are cheating nobody except themselves. The TRUE talent in the Youth riders will come out on top no matter what.

Andrew? Only my parents call me that!!!

IDMCC don't run the SSDT. Edinburgh & District do that!
-
Given you're in Kinloss, it kinda shortens the possibilities somewhat! I have no objections. Most of the Scottish Clubs have representatives that post on these forums. I'd be interested to see their response.
Edit: Club as suspected based on your location. Topic moved to UK Trials talk.

Because we provide FREE Classified Ads on the front page of Trials Central.

I have contacted Martin both to pass on my sympathies and to seek permission to run a front page article marking Fred's achievements. In these difficult situations I don't like to be assume things and always seek permission from the family first.

This section of the forums has been set up to allow users POSITIVE interaction with the ACU and to collect that interaction in one place so it is easy to find and so that posts do not get buried amongst other topics in the UK Trials Talk forum (plus it makes it easier for Dicko to find stuff for his editorial)
ACU-bashing will not be permitted. If you have nothing constructive to say then say nothing at all. Criticism of things you may feel are wrong is fine, but it must be constructive criticism with appropriate suggestions as to how things could be changed/improved. Both John Collins and Mick Wren of the ACU Trials and Enduro Committee read and post on these forums. Neither have to, but both make the effort. They're not the big bad wolves you may think and do a helluva lot (though the jury is still out on the vampire theory!)
This has been created at the suggestion of forum users. Please use it responsibly and avoid posting after a few

Got your email on this. He's been a member since 2004. To avoid confusion you'll need to change yours. I'll be in touch.

Erm...bear in mind we have a lot of American readers and "fag" means something totally different to them!

I do work for Symantec, but that is purely because they acquired the company I did work for (Veritas). I deal with data availability solutions, not the security side of things. If the truth be told, I don't even run Norton myself and never would as I find it an incredible hog on computer resources.

3 posts deleted from this topic for using text talk. Zat is Verboten! Any more and it is off to ze Russian Front!

Been there, done that, got ignored!

An online fundraiser has been started in aid of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance who took Richard to hospital. A very worthy cause.

I also have evidence from a few years back of Laia Sanz saying to watch out for Bou.
He's young, he now has the backing of the most professional team in Trials (no discredit to other teams, but in all honesty they can't compete with the mighty Honda corporation). He'd have be a fool to turn down the opportunity.
Interesting that Honda/Montesa have signed Bou over Raga. Given that they could afford either, is it investing for the future or realisation that if it wasn't for Fuji's injury this year then Raga's title could easily have gone another way?
It does say one thing quite clearly - they don't consider Adam Raga as a domineering force over the next two years.
