In this case it's nothing to do with the car.
It's rhyming slang. I ain't got a scooby is a shortened version of "I ain't got a scooby doo" i.e. rhymes with clue thus what they're really saing is "I ain't got a clue".
Subarus are often called Scoobys for the same reason.
Probably clear as mud!

Wayne Rooney has been told he can play in the world cup as long as he has a Cortizone injection....................................
David Beckham says if that fat ******* is having a new car then he wants one too

HAHAHAHAHA! Bandwidth leech!

To add to that, the video clips of Doug get way more downloads than any of the other riders.

I make it around 130 pre-registrations so far. Cool
The wristband thing is being sorted. I'll probably get your addresses by email and post them out. I can get your email addresses from the forums - no need for you to anything right now except make sure your registered email address on the forums is vaiid! I'll be in touch as we move forward.

I voted "Yes but he goes about it the wrong way" as he does have some valid points, it's just the attitude that leaves a lot to be desired. However, it's been great for my site stats so I'm not complaining

You been smoking that funny stuff again?
PS. Should this be in Youth Trials or should I move it?
-
Not at all. I've been in this funny little place called Japan then straight back into real life job. That's me literally just back home. It's being worked on in the background.

Topic bumped for anyone who missed it.

I'm with Boof on this one. Nice idea, but can't see it happening.
1) Who's going to organise it? There would be a lot of work in putting something like this on.
2) Where would you hold it? A suitable venue would be needed. Something like the Manchester Red Bull event that was run a few years ago would be ideal (i.e. bring the sport to the masses), but again would take a lot of organising.
3) When would you hold it? The Monday after Hawkstone is no good as it's a normal working day for folk.

Absolutely no problem with taking kids along. The tent last year was mobbed with them watching the DVD's on the big screen. Made for a bit of peace and quiet for Mum and Dad to enjoy themselves

Hmmm. Wiki. This was mentioned once before. I like that idea I'm on the case and downloading various Wiki packages now.

Got this one from Top Trial Team. Made me smile. Rest of their photos are here

It's been suggested that I put a "Beginners Guide" page (or pages) together on the site that newcomers or those curious about the sport could be directed to. Being a non-rider myself, it's not the sort of thing I fancy writing. With the number of people on here and the wealth of experience there must be somebody willing to put fingers to keyboard. Any volunteers?

Depends. Do you have a mullet to accompany said shirt?

Trials Central is sitting at 9,711,278 hits for May. With an average hits per day rate of 359,676 for May I'm gonna smash 10,000,000 for a month for the first time thanks to you guys. Cheers!

Are you bald and wear gay hats?

Andy Rothers - How many in your party?
Team Trialcast - How many in your party? Contact me offline re beer contribution/publicity.
John Collins - No need for a disguise. I'm sure the overall majority appreciate you stepping into the "lions den" of these forums. Get yourself down there.
Please state your anticipated numbers in any reply. We're over 70 already and I easily see this going 2-300. I need to make sure we have enough space!
Note things will be the same as last year in terms of an informal get-together on Friday night for those who are there - same idea, barbecue, tent etc (no free beer!), but with the main get-together on Saturday night.
Taking non-Trials Central users with you is absolutely fine, but you will ultimately be held responsible for their conduct. If they fall over and start fighting after two shandies, it's your problem!

Stats for May. First time any forum has beaten the General Trials Talk:

Whyfor? We don't bite! I had a ball last year in Duluth finally putting some faces to names and this year was just the same. In a way last year was better as we were all staying on the campsite and there was no shortage of guys coming round to have a beer and "shoot the s***". However, it was fun nonetheless (apart from Al's apple poison - though Kinell seemed to enjoy it!) Thank God he wasn't there for the moonshine!
