  1. Moved from "World Championship Chat" - unless you know something we don't!

I've been stood up. They obviously couldn't keep their hands off each other
  3. It was only available to UK readers, but basically it was a Text Message Results service for the World Championships. i.e. results to your mobile phone.
  4. I'm with Ishy on this one. It's great for the sport, but just doesn't float my boat. I'd rather freeze my nuts off on a hillside photographing a "real" trial than be warm in Sheffield. I only do Sheffield because a) it's easy to cover and b ) it's a good social event - meeting up with folk at the start of the new year etc. I'd probably have gone to Belfast again tonight if Octagon hadn't messed the dates about, but again most of that would have been because it's easy to get to and the social side.
  5. It's not real. Just an online trading game.
  6. What's that all about then?
  7. Dougie's image is his copyright. Any use of it requires permission. I know it won't be a problem, but like to do things right.
  8. Can't answer your question, but might take a trip down to that. Went in 2004 and got wetter than I've got at any Trial, ever (including the Scottish!)
  9. We had a go on them at the US World Round (yes, I WAS on a bike!) Great little bikes
  10. There are several threads on the subject here

If you can sort a lift up there with a rider then I'm happy to give you a lift round. Only HL and Cam have been in the Trials Central Scooby
  12. I have sought the permission of the gay one
  13. You know the rules. No Text Tal.... oh it isn't

    On My Travels.

Ish - any chance of a few photos and a wee story on this? Be a cool story to cover and give Jim a bit of publicity.
  15. And Kinell shows exactly the way to put a SCOTSMAN off an idea... Allegedly a MENSA member too
  16. I'm toying with the idea of a "Backing Dougie For Eight" campaign on the site. I normally like to focus on Trials Central being International - and it is - but the majority of traffic is from the UK and the US. The US have no world contenders right now so I'm not going to upset anybody there by showing a little national bias. The remaining traffic is marginal and split globally. It's a bit tabloid-ish, but what the hell. Very easy to set up - a "send your messages to Dougie" page. I get messages before each world round, print them out and deliver to Team Lampkin. Motivational for the guy, almost zero hassle for me and cool for folk to know the message they've sent will actually be delivered.
  17. The word "OWNED" springs to mind!

That could possibly be arranged as long as you two don't do any kissing or canoodling in front of me.
  19. tc is really starting to expand and become very big. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Tell me about it!
  20. Working on results for front page now - thanks
  21. You're kidding! "his chances for achieving a place in the final were nearly fade away" I'll stick to writing my own based on the results!
  22. You were online then disappeared when the results came out. Doing anything special?
  23. Wonder how long it will be before the Gas Gas protests go in about this "guest rider"? Bou doing this is not only helping his own cause, but helping Cabestany a lot too.
  24. Confirmed: Results: Final 1: Bou 9, 2: Cabestany 23, 3: Raga 25 Heat Qualifiers: 1: Adam Raga (SPA-Gas Gas) 6 (faster time),, 2: Albert Cabestany (SPA-Sherco) 6, 3: Antonio Bou (SPA-Beta) 11, Non Qualifiers: 4: Takahisa Fujinami (JPN-Montesa-HRC) 15, 5: Jeroni Fajardo (SPA-Gas Gas) 20, 6: Dougie Lampkin (GBR-Montesa-HRC) 26, 7: Shaun Morris (GBR-Gas Gas) 31 No official press release yet, but the Dougie one is in
