Moved to UK Trials talk. If our own people can't get the right forum, what hope do we have on users getting it right?!!!

Ahhh, but Perce only puts out provisions as far as the first petrol check. After that he just uses Kinell's

Having been incredibly impressed by the amount raised by Richmond's 2005 Scott Trial (as detailed here) I'm determined to do what I can to get a Trials Central Charity Team together to support their 2006 event.
It's been talked about before, but never followed up on. This time I'm serious and will devote the time and effort into making it happen. We've got a number of riders on these forums who may feel that the Scott, overall is just too much, but as part of a charity relay team could have a great day being part of the toughest one-day Trial in the world and also do a lot of good for the Scott Charities at the same time. Via the site I think we could do okay on the fund-raising front.
I'm going to offer the opportunity to be part of this to forum members prior to putting it on the front page, so.... Volunteers? (Dabster, don't bother - your name is already down!)

It's on my to-do list. Honest! (along with about 7 million other things)

you have to wear a checked shirt, carry an axe and sing the Monty Python lumberjack song.

I can't believe in this litigious society we live in today that ANY organiser would allow people to to take part in any organised motorcycling event without making a helmet a pre-requisite. It defies belief. You might as well tattoo "SUE ME" on your forehead.
-
If you're going to email people, I would also suggest you email Octagon stating your dissatisfaction at Eurosport yet again not airing as advertised. Personally, in my experience they're both as incompetent as each other, but it wouldn't do any harm.
Email is info@indoortrial.com

Precisely the reason I don't published their schedules. They NEVER, ever happen as they say. To do so would make me look foolish. Same reason I shy away from Octagon!

John - check out the front page news every now and then - that's old news!

I contacted them last year with a view to free publicity. I got zero response
-
Going for Polish pensioners instead of German ones this year then?

Up in the land where they say "Fit like?" and "Foo ye daen?" and it's always either snowing or raining, there's a young trials rider who got some rather good publicity in the local press this week.

Japan World Round - Never been to Japan and really looking forward to it
USA World Round at TTC in Tennessee - For all we Brits slag Bush and the Yanks, they're the friendliest people going. Great country, great people. Looking forward to going back and partaking of some good ole southern hospitality.
Hawkstone World Round - Great event last year and will be bigger and better this year.
-
Nice shot!
Spoke to Andy "Graffics" Rothwell at Sheffield about getting stickers done with the new logo. Watch this space.

I updated the event calendar earlier this week with those changes. That is exactly why every indoor event on the calendar carries a warning about possible changes even at short notice. Octagon are notorious for it.
-
Sam - if you read this (as I know you lurk ), drop me an email. My email corrupted and I lost the one you sent me with your phone number.

Cool photos. Thanks for sharing.

Interesting article I've just put up on the front page:

There is a website dedicated to Don run by his family. Click here

Now there's a point. Whilst you lot were tucked up in your beds last night dreaming of riding like Bou, Martin Lampkin, Neil Crosswaite and their team were working through the night to clear the arena. Unknown fact, but that lot of sections you watched have to be out of there by the next morning for the next event to move in so the guys work throughout the night. Major credit to them.

Was talking about this last night and I said I had a quote from Laia Sanz from a few years back on Bou. From 2003, but she was right.
"Toni is in the Joan Pons Trial Team along with Laia and he's a name Laia reckons we should watch for the future."
