  1. Bill - the course is dead easy to find and a piece of cake to walk. Get there - it's well worth it. Some spectacular backdrops (as you know!)
  2. The only gay in the village? Squeal, piggy squeal!
  3. Tell me a cheaper motorsport.
  4. And you Geordie boys are experts at it I actually think it works well. The Top Trial Team name really sticks out and that's what they want.
  5. I did take some photos at the awards ceremony and even pestered him to get the team together for a shoot, but they didn't come out too well... Edit: Actually, they look less naff at that size. Edit 2: Cheers Bri!
  6. I think you're being a bit unfair. He does serve exceedingly good aperitifs
  7. Been sorting out my photos fom this year and came across this one from Italy. Didn't know Gary Lineker was into Trials!
  8. Please use the classified system accessible via the front page for ads Ta Andy
  9. I've met a lot of Brits on tour at the World rounds this year and we've had a great time. A thought that sprang to mind as a possibility for next year was an organised trip to a round - France, Belgium or somewhere else relatively close. I'm sure we could get preferential rates on transport and accomodation if we could get numbers together. Thoughts?

    New Bike

Made me giggle and I know fer sure Perce will be the same
  11. Which is no mean feat on a penny farthing
  12. Fact. They tried out a stop detector fitted to the front wheel with a view to making no-stop compulsory. Dougie was the tester and rode the obstacles in the test on the back wheel. Detector whinged like hell, but he didn't stop forward motion. I'm supposed to remain neutral, but having had a good insight into the World Championship this year, I think it works great as it is. The time is so tight in the sections it makes it almost no-stop. I see no reason to change it. What was debated in the pub on Saturday night - and what I totally agree with, is that if our riders are going to develop then they have to be playing by a standard set of rules and those are the FIM rules. To expect them to rise through the grades under one set of rules then make the next step under another is totally unfair on them.
  13. Just a shame he can't do it on the first lap
  14. Where does the "Kinill-Paddle" fit in then?
  15. Japan only as far as I'm aware.
  16. John, Email it to me - andy AT trialscentral.com - worthy of front page news and I'll post a link here for those who don't check the front page too often. Cheers Andy
  17. You lot should have been in the pub in Belgium on Saturday night - there was a good going debate on this very subject!
  18. Eddy's sat next to me right now and he's now importing Beta and helping his son with the bike stuff. He also runs trials schools here. Website at www.domed.be
  19. He wasn't banned. Left of his own accord.
  20. There is usually a programme with details on how to get to the sections and they're generally well signposted too. I don't think you'll have a problem finding your way around.
