  1. I talking about this on sunday to some of the Brits out there and we agreed he'd have to be shown his own death certificate before he accepted he couldn't ride
  2. We got a little booklet that I'll have to re-type and share the info from, but it'll take a bit of time. The Specs section is amusing: "Dry Weight - Very Light "
  3. Well the good news is Nicola went into labour this morning. He made it back in time. No baby yet, but watch this space.
  4. They said at the presentation that the pressure of the gases coming out of the exhaust will prevent any crap from getting into it.
  5. Got some specs, but no time to publish right now.
  6. I've just heard he dropped 23 on his first lap today. That's 13 less than yesterday...
  7. Not while I was there, but they buggered us about so much, I took my photos and left. It was supposed to be last night, but they unveiled the 4-trick and the new 250 two-stroke and the photos from them were so bad we left to get something to eat. They said 8am this morning so we turned up at 8am to be told 8:30 am so we returned at 8:30am. Things finally kicked off at 9:40.
  8. He came off on a big step at section 3 on the second lap. By all accounts the paramedics panicked somewhat and rushed him back to the paddock in an ambulance. After 15 mins or so he rode the rest of the Trial in a lot of pain, but attempted no sections. He was then taken to hospital for x-rays. He's not broken anything, but has badly bruised his hip. He'll be in a lot of pain today, but you know what Dougie's like - he'd need a death certificate to stop him riding! He will be riding today.
  9. Photos now posted. click me
  10. Very first section went over the handlebars. The doctor there said it looked like his shoulder had popped out and back in again. Not heard anything since.
  11. With the Championship the way it is, it looks like it's going to be a cracker of a Trial, not to be missed. Nobody would have reckoned on it being this close. Dougie said last night "Who would have betted on it being this close?" He was very unlucky not to take the win. Even putting my unbiased hat on, I'd have said he deserved it. Remember all those camping or staying in the area overnight will be more than welcome to our Trials Central get-together on the Saturday night. We've got a 30' x 15' tent organised in case the weather isn't good and there will be limited!!! free beer. It's a case of bring your own booze and just have fun. We've arranged an area for the tent away from the family camping area. It should be a cracking weekend both socially and with a real fight on the Sunday. Maybe we can redress the support the Spaniards gave their boys this weekend with some real support for our man.
  12. If Dougie rides like he was riding yesterday, he'll do it. He's on top form mentally too.
  13. It would appear that Kinell actually won Day 2!
  14. I would say that's virtually impossible. There may be some man-made as this one was in Duluth, but skips and boxes? Nah.
  15. It's only a one-day event so, yes sunday would definitely be best!
  16. Was that the 12" remix? I've deleted the duplicate postings
  17. Full results shortly. Been away and just got home

    Mr Isherwood

I do believe he's riding the first Sherco 4-banger competitively in the US this weekend.
  20. You have mail Topic closed as he marks in his emails that his details are not for publication.
  21. Ask and ye shall receive: "had it x-rayed on Tuesday morning - badly bruised and swollen but not broken The doctor has strapped his right wrist up to immobilise his thumb to help it heal quicker
