  1. Please forward when you can!
  2. I found him and we had a good day out at the Lauder. It was great to hook up with him and good that he was able to take in a Trial whilst he was here. Even better that there was one on so close as that doesn't happen often Just to prove he did actually make it out!
  3. For those following this with great interest (sarcasm!) I tracked him down and we'll be at Lauder tomorow.
  4. Mr Wolfe appears to have disappeared off the face of the planet! The hotel he told me he was in says he ain't there and I've left three voicemails on his "cellphone" today. Abducted by aliens?
  5. An update to this has been posted to the front page. Red tape has delayed things a little, but Regs will be out shortly. I'll be posting them as soon as they're available.
  6. Perce mentioned to me about the Trial on down in Lauder this weekend. Bent, could pick you up and take a run down there if you fancy it. It's not far and I've not been out with the camera for a while.
  7. I'm heading up to Aberdeen this afternoon and will be there till Saturday. Could hook up Sunday if you want?
  8. Been talking to Lochaber about that very subject over the past couple of days. Any time now.
  9. You can buy cheap WWII rifles there. Never used, dropped once
  10. The Spanish didn't cancel it. They can't, it's run by the FIM - a Swiss organisation. The Germans pulled out. (but I do like a good conspiracy theory!)
  11. http://www.trialscentral.com/cms/showartic...p?articleID=791 That article stands as far as I'm aware. I've not (yet) been notified of any changes!
  12. Want to put an 18" subwoofer on the back and pretty coloured neon lights underneath it too?

  14. Full results are on the front page for those who don't check too often.
  15. Matt - consider yourself quantified
  16. Nothing to pay in Bangor, but that was rocks and seafront, not a proper motorsport venue with all the costs associated in hiring such a place. Also, Northern Ireland are VERY keen to attract people given the past there so there will have been considerable government funding to support the event and bring tourism in. Personally, I had a ball and thought it was a great venue. Two great days of photographing and this hazy bit in between that I can't quite remember
  17. I'll leave it to StuartC or Ishy to tell you how much it costs to put on one of these things, but it ain't cheap. Personally, I think the prices are damned good value for a day of watching the world's best. It's cheaper than Sheffield and you're much closer to the action. Last year I paid half the price of the Hawkstone weekend ticket just to watch rich gits fly their Ferrari's and Lambourghinis round a track for 3 hours. I wouldn't have minded, but none of them even crashed Also, if it helps ensure the future of a British World Round then they get my money.
  18. Can you quantify that statement? Not saying you're wrong, just I don't like people slagging off the folk who go to the bother of organising events unless they can justify what they're saying - and hopefully put something constructive in to!

Thanks for posting this Stu. At long last "Dog Turd" is no longer the most recent topic on the front page

Isn't that what happened last year too? You couldn't find the route http://www.ssdt.org/2005/routes.html

I would recommend this book, but it didn't do Kinell much good last year

    I REALLY don't think that'll be a problem
  24. Thanks again John for taking the time to put together such a lengthy and comprehensive reply.
