  2. That is an all-time class photo. The very first photo I took of anything to do with Bradford & District. I hadn't even met any of them at that point. I'm extremely pleased it's all been downhill since then
  3. And if Perce is left to organise it....
  4. Wrong forum, but made me laugh anyway
  5. It was my first time there last year and I wasn't at any sections I'd call particularly spectacular, but still got some good photos and had a great weekend - even though I froze my nuts off. Stayed in the Milburn Hotel in Rosedale the night before - highly recommend it. Not expensive, food was fantastic and the beer was good I'd be back this year if I could, but can't for family reasons. If you can get any photos then please email to website AT trialscentral.com - I'd be eternally grateful and may possibly even fire a few TC sticker sets your way
  6. To say the promoters should not profit is like saying Bernie Ecclestone shouldn't profit from F1 or Frank Warren shouldn't profit from boxing. Ridiculous. I personally hope Jake & Martin make enough out of this to justify doing it again. And again. And again. Both are perfectionists and very good at what they do, but over and above that they are passionate about the sport and that shows. You may have noticed that Trials Central is listed on the site as an event partner. We're proud to be there and will be doing whatever we can to promote the event and encourage as large a turnout as possible.
  7. I knew there had to be more to him than just being a grumpy old bugger
  8. Anybody going who can supply me with some photos? I went last year, but can't this year.

Better crack on - time's getting short and you still have to make a bracket for the SatNav.
  10. This is the kind of thing I'm looking for in this forum! I'll change it to "previews and reviews". My initial post probably indicated my reservations about setting up a forum like this, but if it can be used as a "I'm riding x next week, I rode it last year and it's pretty good/easy/okay/hard" type forum then I'm cool with it.
  11. I've added a forum for folk to post their opinions of Trials, but have my doubts it will stay positive. We'll see how it goes.
  12. XBoost disappointed me. I contacted them re going out and doing a free feature on them and the services on offer. Never even bothered to reply.
  13. That's bloody good for a photo of a photo.
  14. Or if you photograph Perce you get the obligatory tongue sticking out I did think of converting some of last year's pre-65 to B&W or even sepia tones to see how they looked, but never got round to it.
  15. I can easily set this up if there's demand. It's up to you lot!
  16. If they are from the forums then you should seek permission from whoever posted them (assuming they took/own them). If they are from any article on this site then the answer is no, I'm afraid. That would be outwith the terms that the photos are supplied to me under.
  17. GAS GAS passion Personal page of Jos
  18. A press embargo has prevented me from saying anything until now. Details of Hawkstone have just been posted to the front page.
  19. It could have been worse. At the SACU awards they had some old geezer called Moffat doing the talking
  20. If it's true that the organiser had a hand in this not being published then Craig is right to be pi$$ed. It's a well written synopsis that I'd have been happy to publish. Craig provided Trials Central with a ton of photos from Duluth 2004 that did the event nothing but a great deal of good at zero cost to the organisers. Between Craig and Jake Miller we provided the most comprehensive photographic and news coverage of a World Round ever outside of the UK - and it happened in America, not Spain where you'd expect or anywhere else.
  21. Surprised at you having a go Dabster - you're well aware of the fight I've got getting info. Yup, it was tonight and the results (such as we have them) are front page. With the Indoor Championship, Trials Central can only move as fast as Octagon - which is poor at very best. Resources do not permit us to have a "worldwide trials central team" at every event. Sorry, but this is Trials, not F1 and it it just ain't possible.
  22. Bent - I ain't letting you get so close and not hook up. I'm not about much at the mo, but drop me a line offline and we'll sort something out.
  23. Spot on Ish. For a daft bugger you do talk sense sometimes
  24. If you have a look at his profile on his newly-revamped website "Future after trials: To run my own trials team & hopefully help young riders to achieve the same success as me"
