I did see him parked up in a lay-by working on it on Friday. Long way back to Fort William if that was where it packed up.
-
Kinell sees the step at Trotters for the first time and demonstrates how he got his name
-
Poll deleted. We've been there before and it doesn't mean anything.
-
If you think you're getting another jacket.....
BTW, I still have a pair of your gloves. Will bring to TC Trial.

I suppose I better remember to thank Big John for being my umbrella holder while I took photos at Inversanda. Contrary to popular belief, he's not totally useless
-
And just to prove Boyd did it too...
-
There should be an announcement on another great prize for this in the next day or so and, having had a meeting with the Bradford bods up in Fort William, we think that other than a prize for best adult and best youth all the rest will be drawn out of a hat so everyone is in with a chance of winning something - regardless of how good a rider they are.
-
No. I was (just) outside the marker which was literally right next to me. If he'd hit me he'd have gone past the wrong side of it. Apart from that, he cleaned the section

Congrats also to Overthehill in his first year as CoC.
Good to meet up with so many and put faces to names.
Fatbikedude was younger than I expected.

Maybe just a bit TOO close to the action!
-
This is him at chairlift this morning...
-
Yeah - and so might Elvis
-
You got that one right Trialscot - the Masons have fewer secrets!
I've got a paper copy thanks to Big John, but will have to re-type and simply don't have time to do that right now. Bear with me and I'll get it done as soon as I can.

What I can tell you is that it's standard practice in the results room to check any strange scores with the top riders and a 5 for Jarvis would have stuck out like a sore thumb so would have been checked again. Therefore, there must be a 5 against him in the book and if that's the case then the Observers word is law.
-
That's exactly whyI've put on my front page report about results being provisional. There is no way, however, he could dispute the double-dab at Inversanda :D
-
I should point out that this Vinnied bloke was the first man up Pipeline on the first day - and he cleaned it
-
We had a bit of a get-together last night. Myself, Ishy, Perce, Kinell, Bigfoot, Boofont, Monty Python, Duck Wizard, Vinnied and Stuhrc (apologies if I forgot anybody else!) and several beers were consumed
-
In summary, they were all knackered tonight. Perce and Kinell especially because it was their first time. They all flaked out early and I guess that's probably allowed!!
Feedback I've had from a few riders is that the sections were harder than they normally are on the first day. The last few at Lagnaha were tough. Steep with big rocks and loose stuff between.
Our Scottie turned in a VERY respectable 5 for the day which is amazing given the injury.
Oh the note of Crosswaite's Scorpa - well it packed up today. Not sure what the problem was, but will corner him tomorrow. He'll be riding the rest of the Trial on a trusty 2-stroke on a No Award basis.
-
Photos? Not long now lads. Lots of useful people at the SSDT. Watch this space
-
1 hour 40 this afternoon and it bombed me out
However, they're now up there - finally.
-
I got some photos of the 175 4-stroke Scorpa Martin Crosswaite's riding. Tried to upload them yesterday to no avail. Will try again now, but not hopeful on my 21k connection.
