    honda had the little japaneise riding one at twin ring motegi (japan) they actually carried a laptop aroud with them to program the egnition to respond correctly in each section
    gas gas have made no effort in the bid for the best four stroke is because they have been aproached and told if they can slightly and i highlight the word slightly reduce emissions then they are aloud to continue in the production of the 2 strokes

    Neither of these claims have come to light previously (even privately!) Can we have proof of your source please?

    Her older brother Paul is also profoundly deaf, he's decent on a bike as well.

    Some on here will remember Crawford Carrick-Anderson from his SSDT days. He too, was deaf and a damned good rider (and a great ski-er). Last I heard of him downhill mountain biking was his thing.

    Personally, I believe it's due to their other senses being more finely attuned. They learn through feeling the bike rather than listening to it and, as such, it becomes more of an extension to their bodies rather than a seperate entity they're fighting to control.

    I can't explain it because as soon as I type the codes it assume I'm doing a link. Click on the "BB Code Help" link underneath the smilies when your doing a reply. That will give you all the codes.

    Nice idea. The only drawback is that not everybody who uses this site has the maturity to post sensibly.

    A good example of this is the news articles. Because people assume anonimity (wrongly!) there are a lot of comments made that are either rude, inapporpriate or just totally irrelevant. They do get deleted pretty quickly either by myself or the other people I've got helping police them, but we're not always around.

    Folk aren't going to waste time on articles full of "SHERCO SUX" or "Teh Mont is fat" or "U R GAY. U DONT KNW WOT UR TLKNG ABT. MY GA55ER ROX TEH WURLD" (get my drift?!!!)
