AND
<drum roll>
HL reckons she's going to put in an appearance
-
I can guarantee it'll be a great day - and expect more prizes of various sorts too up for grabs
-
Nigel Dabster's the guy to speak to. He's ridden it a few times, I believe.
-
StuartC is in the best position to answer the first couple of questions, but the answer to the last one is no. The barbecue is great fun though, but attendance isn't mandatory.
-
Well so far that nice Kinell bloke has put up a rear tyre as a prize and I've just had word that thanks to Stu Essenhigh, Michael Chan of HKRC trials clothing in HONG KONG!!! has offered to donate a shirt and pair of trousers.
Many thanks to all three!
-
Well you either don't check the front page very often or are blind
-
I just want stickers!
(And Marky - you said you didn't have a cutter yet!)
-
Yours were made by you - I didn't want you to feel like you had to do more, hence I didn't want to ask. Dave got his made up commerically. Sorry - of course if you want to email me a price to get 100 done then I'm open to quotes.
-
Dave's going to find out a price for me to get a batch done. Bear with us!
-
Yeah - I can picture it now. Pack of Regal King size in one hand for Kinell and a sheep on a leash in the other for Perce...
-
It is regretable to have to reprimand one of the Team WOFTAM members, but if we are to suceed in taking First, Second and Third at this year's SSDT then all Riders need to be lean, mean riding machines. They do NOT need to be caught doing things like this. Mr. Kinell, do you have anything to say in your defence?
-
Received it this morning or it was on your phone when you got up? They were sent out around midnight last night.
-
Cheers. Onwards and upwards as they say! These are ideas I've had for a long time but sure as hell wasn't going to implement them for someone else to take the cash and give nothing back!!
As far as stickers goes, it's being looked into. you could see if Marky Boy has any left.

What you should carry, courtesy of Ishy...

He won't fool around - he's taking his new girlfriend with him:
-
-
Gav - to be serious for a moment. You've got a lot of experienced riders from all over the world giving you advice here. You'll learn loads if you ignore the larking about with spelling and listen to the technical advice that's been given. Ishy has good credentials in the SSDT and Al belongs to a Club with a really long name so that must count for something!
-
Nice photos - thanks for sharing. I know they're not all Trials, but I'd be quite interested in putting these in a proper gallery with descriptions so the search engines pick them up - either for you to host or myself. I'm quite into preserving photos of the old stuff on the Web for future generations to see.
-
This is just toooooooooo funny.
-
Marky made them himself. He did mention something about some spares though.
-
Yeah- congrats to Ian and well done to Eboracum for a great Trial. I couldn't stick around as long as I'd have liked because of the trip home, but it was my first Trial in Yorkshire on the East side of the A1 and it was a great location.
Drove down yesterday, not in any hurry and was well impressed by the scenery - no, it's not as impressive as the Highlands of Scotland (but then I'm biased!) but it is nice. Stayed in the Millburn Arms in Rosewell Abbey last night and can recommend it to anyone thinking of going to the Colonial next year. Nice wee village hotel with good beer and fantastic food. Reasonably priced too and only couple of minutes from the start.
And no - I'm not on a backhander!
I know the organisers had a very long, hard day and I must thank them (again) for getting their results to me so quickly. When there are photos folk want to know who did what. Hopefully they're enjoying a few well-earned pints right now
