  1. I had been using PSP since version 3......that's quite a few years! I recently switched to Photoshop to see what all the fuss was about. I made sure I 'had' to use it by removing PSP off my system.

Hehehe. I was close to doing similar purely to make me use Potatoshop. I installed PSP 8 and it ground my PC to a halt - AMD 1.7 with 786Mb RAM. I will get into Photoshop soon, but in the meantime I've downgraded back to PSP 7.

  2. There have certainly been many rumours abound lately. I heard plenty both before and during the SSDT.

Not being a News of The World kind of site though, I'm not about to publish any because until they're confirmed one way or another they are just that - rumours. :D

  3. Quite possibly bandwidth issues. Interest was very high. I was originally linking to the pics on the US Montesa site, but copied them onto my server to save them bandwidth as I have a high bandwidth limit

My understanding was that it was an official press release and on that basis I certainly wasn't going to refuse them.

Montesa's PR people sent out one of the photos last night after the afternoon press release. Whether that was as a result of the information being "leaked" (if it even was) or not I don't know. I'm sure I'll find out though!

  4. Hi Andy,  if your the same Andy that has the 500+ pics posted on the website, you have a lot of great shots there! If your affiliated with the board, I might take you up on your offer. After I shoot the El Trial de Espana later this month, I'd be happy to post a few so everyone can get a look.

One and the same. I'm still very much on a learning curve myself having made the dive into digital SLR last year (Canon 10D).

  5. :D Hi all,  new guy here. My name is John Whitfield and I reside on the other side of the pond, in southern California.  I'm a photographer and I cover action events such as desert racing and now, Trials events.  Feel free to check out my site and see what's going on with the southern California Trails action.  I'll be covering a big annual event later this month: The El Trial de Espana. If anyone is interested, I'll post some pics on your site.  Thanks for your time and hope to hear back....

Welcome! Good to have another Trials photographer on board. If you want to do photos for publicity then I'm happy to do so!

  6. There should be an announcement on another great prize for this in the next day or so and, having had a meeting with the Bradford bods up in Fort William, we think that other than a prize for best adult and best youth all the rest will be drawn out of a hat so everyone is in with a chance of winning something - regardless of how good a rider they are.

  7. You got that one right Trialscot - the Masons have fewer secrets!

I've got a paper copy thanks to Big John, but will have to re-type and simply don't have time to do that right now. Bear with me and I'll get it done as soon as I can.
