  1. Thanks Andy! I'll be tacking a cool box so if I'm there first you can dive right in.

The fridge will be on in the back of the car and you can be assured that after 3-4hours with two of MacBeth's witches in the car I'll be more than ready for beer!

  2. Simplied for the dumb ones upon us..eg. Me...this means we must bring our own food and it is cooked for us?

Can't you burn your own burgers?

There will be no shortage of barbecue-looker-afters.

  3. Matching grey wellies. Gold larmie thong. Pinkish top with blueish green skirt. That for Friday night in the pub.

On Saturday I may change the wellies to my new pair of  blue sling back with 4" (100mm) heel wellie.  Top depends on the weather but could be a off the shoulder (Resting on the bellie) top.  May wear my Morris danceing jeans.

On Sunday it depends what i have left in my wardobe after the wifes chucked the rest on the BBQ.

I'm having mental images that I really don't want to be having!

  4. So whats the format for Saturday night? Is it  bring your own beer and food and use a communal BBQ or will I need to bring something to cook on too? Is there a beer tent etc?

    1. Turn up

    2. Pitch tent

    3. Drink!

    4. Wonder which women's clothing Ron is going to put on this year.

    There is a small-ish marquee.

    Communal big barbecue

    Bring own beer/food.

  5. And your the designated driver?

I (for some stupid reason - must have been drunk at the time) volunteered, but only the Edinburgh -> venue part. After that, car dumped, beer opened

  6. I had been using PSP since version 3......that's quite a few years! I recently switched to Photoshop to see what all the fuss was about. I made sure I 'had' to use it by removing PSP off my system.

Hehehe. I was close to doing similar purely to make me use Potatoshop. I installed PSP 8 and it ground my PC to a halt - AMD 1.7 with 786Mb RAM. I will get into Photoshop soon, but in the meantime I've downgraded back to PSP 7.

  7. There have certainly been many rumours abound lately. I heard plenty both before and during the SSDT.

Not being a News of The World kind of site though, I'm not about to publish any because until they're confirmed one way or another they are just that - rumours. :D

  8. Quite possibly bandwidth issues. Interest was very high. I was originally linking to the pics on the US Montesa site, but copied them onto my server to save them bandwidth as I have a high bandwidth limit

My understanding was that it was an official press release and on that basis I certainly wasn't going to refuse them.

Montesa's PR people sent out one of the photos last night after the afternoon press release. Whether that was as a result of the information being "leaked" (if it even was) or not I don't know. I'm sure I'll find out though!

  9. Hi Andy,  if your the same Andy that has the 500+ pics posted on the website, you have a lot of great shots there! If your affiliated with the board, I might take you up on your offer. After I shoot the El Trial de Espana later this month, I'd be happy to post a few so everyone can get a look.

One and the same. I'm still very much on a learning curve myself having made the dive into digital SLR last year (Canon 10D).

  10. :D Hi all,  new guy here. My name is John Whitfield and I reside on the other side of the pond, in southern California.  I'm a photographer and I cover action events such as desert racing and now, Trials events.  Feel free to check out my site and see what's going on with the southern California Trails action.  I'll be covering a big annual event later this month: The El Trial de Espana. If anyone is interested, I'll post some pics on your site.  Thanks for your time and hope to hear back....

Welcome! Good to have another Trials photographer on board. If you want to do photos for publicity then I'm happy to do so!
