They already are. Came into force this year:
"Motorcycles must be equipped with an operational cut-out switch and be connected through a lanyard to the rider (max. length - 1metre). Once the rider steps of (sic) the motorcycle, the lanyard must stop the engine from running."

Beat me to it. It was probably Picasa I mentioned in the past. Clicky
-
It's supposedly on Motors at 10:30am this Saturday (though it might be cancelled in favour of the Bolivian Tiddlywinks Championship). Hopefully they'll include the footage of the cameraman getting clobbered by Raga's bike. Seen it and scary stuff...

More photos on front page now

First pic. More on front page soon, but currently working off a 3G connection

I see Ross is on the pre-entry list to ride Junior route this weekend. That list isn't always 100% correct, but it would be good to see him ride (and even better if he beat Pol)

Try it now. Have disabled the footer banner till I sort the zindexes out.

trialsads.com
Even a paid-for Ad is only a quid!

No shortage of Trials to choose from in your area, all of which are listed on the events calendar on the front page of TC thanks to Gordon Imrie, Ask around for Ray Crinson and Hillary Little. Both are keen Trials photographers in that neck of the woods and will help keep you right.

Basically turn up and shoot. No permission required, though if you're a stranger and it's an event with children riding it would be best to approach the organisers first, such is modern society. Don't impede the riders and, probably more importantly, don't impede the observers line of sight (though they're not usually shy in telling you to move your bloody head!)

I've had a couple of US users make contact following the site upgrade with login problems from swbell.net/com addresses. I have tried responding to these users to help resolve the issues, but AT&T/swbell are blocking emails. I've contacted them, but as usual in corporate world, no response.
If anyone affected can make contact via an alternate email address we can get things sorted out.

The Spanish websites do it every year, though I can't remember the last time I saw any of them represented at a world round...
That's Bou and Fuji confirmed with Montesa - all official, like.
-
No. Nobody can at this stage. He is due to see doctors this week.
-
That is an incredibly ignorant statement to make. The guy is injured and has ridden when he shouldnt have. To continue riding without recovery could be career ending.
-
Frame is 0.3kg lighter. Fuel tank increased by 0.3 litre to 2.9 litres.

It is the 2013 bike and will be launched here in Italy this weekend. Proper photos later
-
You want to try European World rounds - particularly Italy - where, for a fee, anybody can buy a pass to ride round on their bike all day. It's chaos and an accident waiting to happen. You have public (including small children) flying about on bikes on the same narrow paths as spectators and riders - often riding against the Trial and riders and minders don't tend to hang about... There WILL be a serious accident one day. I've raised it with the FIM on a number of occasions, but it's fallen on deaf ears every time.

Can't connect to that messageforums website so dunno what it's all about.
Invision have released a new iPhone App for the forums, but from what I gather it's not that great. It's also no longer free so I wouldn't recommend anyone wasting their money at this stage. The mobile skin which it should auto-detect if you're on a mobile device should do most things.

I still haven't done anything to fix it. Only just home from a full-on weekend in Andorra.
-
No I haven't. I got up at 6am last Monday, drove from Spanish world round to Malaga, flew home, got myself sorted. Tuesday 6am I flew out to Dublin, getting home at 9pm. Wednesday I had a day to catch up with my real life job - the one that pays the bills then Thursday 5am I was up to fly to Andorra. The patch will be applied when I have time

Update on Loris here
I've seen the photos of the "fingernail" and really wish people would not post photos of injuries and gory stuff online. I'm a bit girly when it comes to that sort of thing...
-
Thank you for the kind words
I've not seen this comment or heard anything untoward regarding the recent update, but I make no apologies. It was publicised prominently on the front page for at least a month before the changes that the calendar system was changing and that it would not be possible to migrate events from the old to the new. I did try, but it wasn't going to happen due to the way the data was stored. Nobody else has complained, but then you'll never please everybody

Emoticons can be affected by this bug too. I will advise when the fix is in place.
