I think next year, if you advertise the event again I'll create a seperate forum for this event as you've got topics all over the bleedin' place!

I'm with you on this one. No way, no chance, no how.

Ever seen those websites that say "We will get you off speeding tickets" and quote "little known methods". Well they're all bollocks.
It might only be a tenner, but that's

Sounds like a job for Mr. Moffat!

The first topic was deleted (by me) as it became abusive (there is blame on both sides on that one. Most of you will have missed the sellers responses posted late at night). The seller also claimed he had received abusive emails from people from this site via EBay.
A second topic was created and that very quickly became abusive too so it was also deleted (not by me, one of the other moderators must have seen it before me and deleted it)
A third topic will just end up the same.
As Dan says above, it was all rather un-civil.
Topic closed.

I'll see your Al Murray and raise you

I believe it was produced by an ageny for CNBC who then sell the articles on to airlines etc for showing as part of news/sport coverage on long-haul flights. Good publicity for the sport

I thought it was because you'd spotted Al Murray's

Snopes confirms a load of bollocks!

The thing that gets me about the public sector is the sheer waste. Just on my side of things, I know of many public sector customers who've bought software from us and then either never deployed it or only partially deployed it. One I can think of off the top of my head has

Spoke to Neil this afternoon.
Confirmed: Bou, Raga, Fujinami.
Definites from a UK point of view: Lampkin, Dabill
To be confirmed: Cabestany, Fajardo
Also possibly other UK Wild card riders.
A lot of it is down to whether it is a world round and they have to comply with FIM regulations or whether they have freedom to run the event as they want.

One thing you do need to do is push this on the front page. Mentioned this to Lee already. Banner ads are fine and when they're new they get loads of clicks, but over time people get used to them (which is why I suggest advertisers refresh their Ads every 3-4 months). One of the benefits of TC sponsorship is headline news articles. Sponsors supply me with latest news, offers etc and they go headline on the front page. Jitsie is good at this, but others not so good. You need to be doing this so even those who are aware, and maybe clicked on a banner a couple of months ago have it brought back to the front of their minds.
I look forward to an article with latest news on this event arriving in my Inbox imminently

On the case. I believe all the top riders have signed up, but awaiting confirmation from Mr. Crosswaite. He does email even less than Mart does email!

Oh my God. Google the mobile number given in the Ad and see some of the other stuff he's tried to shift.
A boat which "FLOATS ON TOP OF THE WATER TO GIVE THE SPEED FACTOR". You can rest assured on that basis you're not buying either a submarine or the Titanic.
Some people just shouldn't be allowed access to the Internet

Is this the voice of experience?

I was up that way visiting me Dad this weekend and what is even better is they are not a couple. He is engaged, but they couldn't go to his house to play PC Plod hides his helmet because of his fiancee. I don't think the local paper carried his name, but it did have a photo of him on the front page. How much s*** is he going to be in?

Jonathan Rea from the Hannspree Ten Kate Honda team went all out for wins at his home race meeting and recorded two second place finishes which improved his points score in the championship and made his overall third place a little more secure.
Starting from second place in each 18-lap race at this long 5.902km circuit, Rea led for the majority of each race, his only company the eventual winner of each leg, Cal Crutchlow.
At the top of the championship Max Biaggi now leads race one podium finisher Leon Haslam by 373 points to 313, with Rea on 243, 39 points ahead of Carlos Checa with three rounds and six races remaining.
Hannspree Ten Kate Honda rider Max Neukirchner went 11th in race one, his best result since the Assen race weekend in April, but a technical problem saw him drop out of race two. Having qualified 18th Max and his team found an improvement for raceday and he was riding well inside the points in race two before he was forced out.
ECHO CRS Honda rider Broc Parkes had a very difficult raceday after making it into Superpole and starting 19th on the grid. A collision with another rider saw him fall on the first lap of race one, and then another fall put him out on lap eight of race two. He stays 20th overall, two places behind Neukirchner.
The HM Pant Honda duo of Ryuichi Kiyonari and Josh Brookes had a tough time in their WSBK wildcard weekend, with Brookes 16th in race one and 12th in race two, Kiyonari 21st in the opener and 16th in race two. They had qualified 17th and 22nd respectively.
Laverty fends off Sofuoglu in thrilling Silverstone race
Pole winner Eugene Laverty (Parkalgar Honda) led in impressive form in what was a delayed 16-lap Supersport World Championship race. He would eventually repel the attack put in by championship leader Kenan Sofuoglu (Hannspree Ten Kate Honda) and in the overall points standings Sofuoglu now has 203, Laverty 186.
This was Laverty
