I spoke to Jake today after I received the article, but before I posted it and yup, like Jimmy I was cynical. Is this a genuine rant or is it a thinly disguised attempt to promote your world round event? I do believe it is actually a rant - or as close to a rant as Jake can come to. Remember he's in the business and there is only so much he can say. I'm sure, without the constraints of his business there would be a lot more!
I've seen what he's saying on here myself - Folk criticising the World Championship who I know have never been to a World Championship round. I've done the majority of World rounds with Jake since G2F Media and Trials Central teamed up back in 2005 (blimey is it really that long ago!) taking us from the UK all over Europe to Duluth in the USA and TTC in Tennessee to Japan and all over coming back again (okay we both missed Guatemala deliberately because neither of us fancied being shot at!) but we've travelled a lot together, we've heard the criticisms and we've laughed at the armchair critics. I can totally see his point and can totally see his "rant" as being justified, albeit mellowed somewhat...

Toni and Fuji maybe, with the Honda machine behind them. I think you'll find the rest (even Raga) would disagree with you on that one!

For anybody who's not spotted it on the front page and therefore has no idea what this is about!

Avon Skin So Soft - best midge repellant ever.
Strange, but true!

Plus, look at the event website
Redbull's logo is all over it and they're one of Dougie's major sponsors. Got to please those who pay the wages
Aside from that, it's really good to see Taddy doing so well. He's a really nice bloke. Always had time to stop and chat in his days riding WTC.

He's riding the Erzberg Rodeo this weekend.
Having made the long trip out to Japan myself I can't say I blame him!
-
Just for reference, there's a guide on how to post photos here
-
I was about to say the same thing. Excellent topic and exactly what these forums are for . Should prove very helpful to users looking for new boots (if they've got the savvy to use search and not just post "Which boots are best"
-
I'm fighting with mailshot to TC Supporters right now. It's not playing ball, but expect something soon
-
S'okay then. As long as you don't intend using your research to enter the Trials "bling" market
-
Why? Sounds like market research to me.
-
Search is your friend too
-
Been discussed several times. Search is your friend
-
Issues? Nah, none. Just some gentle Scots mickey taking. I'm only here for the banter

Surprised nobody with an iGay and Shazam music recognition (there's an app for that) hasn't jumped in with the full list. Perhaps the iGay users are too ashamed to admit their homo tendencies I can't believe thedbf is using that as I'm firstly doubtful the iGay has reached Dundee yet and secondly suspect if it had, it would have been ripped off him and sold to fund a drug habit
-
I'd suggest someone is pulling your chain. Ask for the source.
-
First time I've ever heard an Aberdonian call a Dundonian tight! You have to understand he has his methadone to pay for!
-
Went to a charity pub quiz last night. One of the questions was:
What three J's is Dundee famous for?
Apparently the correct answer is
Jute, Jam and Journalism
but surely our answer of
Junkies, Jakies and Jezebels
is equally correct?
