This will be totally wasted on anyone not Scottish, but it's absolutely hilarious

Yup, Happy New Year guys (and girls).
2009 was a bit crap, hoping 2010 will be somewhat better

Trials HD Expansion pack released
Clickety linky

Hehehe. Nice analogy
At 411 views already and clearly a lot of work gone into producing your extensive instructions, it's worthwhile pinning it to stop it from dropping into the ether

There's no doubt Dabster is full of something. I'm just not sure "gin" is the word I'd use
-
So if Raga rode it, would it become "Whines from Spain"?
-
I remembered it was close to Xmas as Horacio has run spoof stories before at this time of year, but couldn't remember the exact date. Had to Google. Quite interesting...

December 28th is the Spanish equivalent of our April Fools Day

It's Christmas Eve. What happened to the season of peace and goodwill to all men?
Topic closed as it's going nowhere. DO NOT try and re-start it.
-
Thanks for the summary! As soon as I saw it posted I subscribed to updates as it looked like it could get nasty even though I didn't have a clue what it was all about! Somehow it just didn't seem to fall into the "season of goodwill" and "peace to all men" category we'd expect at this time of year
-
Yup. The live shows are planned. Sheffield won't be shown live though as it was only brought into the Championship yesterday as detailed here
-
That is probably the most offensive post I've ever seen on TC
-
Okay, it's not really a "joke", but it made me laugh
-
I'm seriously impressed. When I saw the topic title I fully expected this topic to have been hi-jacked by the TC Perv brigade (you know who you are!) by now!
-
Ditto. Works in that last bastion of hell known as Internet Exploder, but not in Firefox.

Sorry you're not feeling the love, but we see many people appear on here claiming they know it all or have an "inside source". You posted as a total newcomer making unsubstantiated claims. I merely pointed out for the benefit of our general readership that you had only registered that day and were based in the USA so hardly likely to be on the pulse of what is happening within either Honda or Montesa.
If you have a definitive source that is above and beyond all of us who are involved in the sport then, as others have requested, reveal that source. Until such time as you do you'll find nobody takes you seriously and you'll be seen as just another rumormonger. I don't mean to come across as nasty, but that's just the way it is. To have credibility you either have to back up your statements with hard fact or withdraw them.

He won't advertise here himself as he respects the TC forum rules on advertising, but it might be worth having a word with Stuart Cameron of Bradford & District. Top bloke who works his a*** off for the sport and has an understanding of the needs of Trials riders. His website is http://www.autowbars.co.uk/

Possibly He's based in the US so hardly likely to be on the inside at Montesa and I'd be far more inclined to take Martin's word as to what is or is not happening than someone who just registered today purely to put Montesa down
-
"thesolidman1" registered today and immediately posted that comment. Their registered email address and their country of origin does not indicate they are someone "in the know" so take their comments with a pinch of salt.

Must admit the "2009 Tiger Woods Family Christmas Card" that is doing the rounds did make me laugh
-
Oh aye! You two been plotting this then?! Buggers - I was quietly hoping nobody had picked up on it and now it's been posted Jake has picked up on it too and offered his support. Doesn't look like I have any bleedin' choice! I'm presuming the two plotters are volunteering to help with setup and clear-up!
I'm happy to run with it, but it's a LOT of work so will need some help and have two concerns
1) Weather, but then it poured down at Hawkstone in 07 and it didn't stop us.
2) Bloody midgies! Bonfire perhaps?
Anyway, it prompted me to look back at my old photos. Can't find the ones from 06. Must be burned off onto DVD, but from humble beginnings in 05...
The setup was pretty impressive by 2007!
(The Tesco Value Lager was bought as a joke!)

Not a hope of 2 grand for it unless someone has more money than sense in the current climate. SCO 6 DAY is actually SC06 DAY if the spacing is correct, which as you correctly point out it has to be to avoid hassle. With the correct spacing it doesn't scan right and is worth no more than any other random 06 plate.
Kinell owned that B3TA number plate and I seem to recall he got pulled for incorrect spacing and had to correct it. I also know of numerous guys through the Subaru club who have been pulled for incorrectly spaced plates. It's not worth the hassle.

This Ad on the TC Classifieds (I think 2 grand for a very tentative link to the SSDT is a bit optimistic!) reminded me...
Back in my early days with the SSDT there used to be a car (a burgundy Peugeot I seem to recall) there every year with the Reg No "6 DAY". Anybody know who owned it and what became of it as I've not seen either car or Reg for yonks. At the time i thought it the coolest plate on the planet!
