I've been playing about with the beta version of the gallery software. TC Supporters can get a preview of the changes with this sample of the first 25 photos from France by clicking here.
I'm aware there's a problem with Internet Explorer and the advert at the top of the page where the Ad appears on top of the photo. Firefox is fine. I've got a fix for the IE thing, but am still in France waiting to fly home and can't work on it right now.

He's put it on a blog to seperate out all the crap

Not long arrived. Maisse is tiny. You can't miss the Trial and it's well sign-posted.

Pete created this topic on the 11th June. It was posted to the front page of TC on 7th June Assistant Webmaster has his finger on the pulse
It is very disappointing - especially when you see people happy to bitch about the ACU on here, but those same people are not prepared to stand up, put their c*ck on the block and actually take part. I would, but I don't ride and only do the promotional side so would have nothing really to offer of any value.
The idea of having some kind of meeting during the SSDT was interesting. There are certainly enough riders and organisers from various clubs there either taking part or as observers/spectators. It's a captive audience and an ideal time to get folk together when they're all focused on the sport. It's certainly something worth looking into as I feel having it the same weekend as the French World Round was a bad move. It's the one world round you see more Brits at than any other as it's closest and cheapest to get to.

You can take the boy out of the public sector....

Oh ye of little faith. You think I ignore everything said to me.
The next version of the Gallery software which is currently in Beta testing features a "lightbox" which will open the images inline, on the same screen and without any scrolling. As soon as it's completed Beta testing and goes GA then I'll be using it (and yes - i will pay for the upgrade ).
As far as the Forum rules goes, they stay. There is barely a day goes by when I don't have to move topics from here to where they should actually be. Why people can't take notice of the red writing is beyond me, but for some reason the desire to post overtakes the desire to actually read before posting. It's a minor inconvenience to have to scroll a little.

Beware of overseas users. SAE from the US of A ain't going to have much clout with the Royal Mail...

Congratulations - You have managed something I have never achieved - a photo of John Moffat with his feet up!

They didn't acquire. GM had a 20% stake in Fuji Heavy Industries which they sold to Toyota in 2005. It's joint venture.

The calendar is not integrated with the Forums and requires seperate registration.

And with a Vauxhall numberplate too. It's a photoshop.
This is the real thing under wraps

Not this time matey. I think you speak for all...
I think we all know it will come out sooner or later...

Right. I am DEFINITELY the man for this job.
We were recently requested within the Impreza Drivers Club to provide suitable graphics for our new mobile stand for car shows etc.
Some came up with such boring designs as
and
I'm sure you'll agree that my design wins hands down and clearly shows my elite skills both in Photoshop and graphic design
Please feel free to contact me offline to discuss my fees.

Please leave the administration of these Forums to the Administrators and leave out the name-calling. The OP is not an "idiot". His intentions were good, but this isn't about Beta, this misguided topic is about Dougie Lampkin so is correctly posted in this Forum.

I'm glad Telecat is finding his way around The site isn't quite finished. It's fully functional, but still needs to be tidied up cosmetically. A change was in the plans anyway as I was never happy with the previous site, but security vulnerabilities in the last one forced me to make the change sooner than planned. I'll get it tidied up as and when time allows.

No you're not! Why have two topics in two forums about exactly the same thing? Topics merged.
-
Thanks for all your efforts and hard work Craig. They've been much appreciated.
PS. He still ain't smiling
-
I moved the previous topic into the World Championship Forum as Craig is the only TC forum guy or anybody we have on-site in Japan and his reports, although a tiny bit biased, deserve a little bit more exposure for being brave enough to head out there!
-
You're all we've got Craig as I will never return to that hellhole. You're doing a top job. Keep going
-
Absolutely no problem posting stuff from Todotrial. I know Horacio and have supplied stuff to them many times. We are in agreement we don't mind people posting stuff from each other's sites as long as they credit the originating site so you're fine there
-
I am *SO* glad I didn't make the 20-plus hour jorney to stay in a sterile hotel in the middle of nowhere and get my camera soaked by p****ing rain!
Keep up the good work Craig - and better you than me!
-
Oh FFS don't say that. I'll never hear the end of it!

You might get something from this rather attractive young lady
http://www.paint-splats.com/
Have a look at the bottom of the "Wonky Cars" gallery. Yes she's a commercial artist, but I know she's keen to get established so you might be able to strike a deal if her website URL or something was printed on the mugs along with whatever cartoon.
If you don't ask you don't get
