  1. Perce has a photo of a Trials rider on his mobile phone from this year's SSDT I'm sure he'd be happy to let you use

    Multi Bike?

I'm amazed it has gone this far without being public as it was well talked about. I'm disappointed in the rider as he is certainly one who should know better than to try and cheat the system. And no, it wasn't Jake - his Beta did actually carry his pie-enhanced frame round for the entire six days
  3. Use www.trialscentral.com and not www.trialscentral.co.uk - they wanted a crazy amount of money to licence the additional domain name even though they both point to the same site.
  4. Dabster, you paid in Feb by NoChex so you're good for a while yet

I bust a gut to get to the top of Fersit, stop 6 times to get my breath back and prevent a heart attack. I eventually get there and he's sat at SEVENTY FIVE YEARS OLD looking like it was just a walk in the park and he's been there for weeks. The guy is amazing. Nowt else I can say.
  6. I didn't notice it till Saturday, but I'm 99% certain it happened at Meall Nam Each on Friday. The damage wasn't there Thursday and Friday at Doire Dhamh the passenger side was away from the road. It was roadside at Pipers Burn, but a good 2 feet back so no chance of it happening then. Only at Meall Nam Each was the passenger side anywhere near the road. Saturday morning I was at Lower Mamore so passenger side was away from the road and afternoon I was at Nevis Forest parked up just before the gate so can't have happened then.

We were all invited to sign the visitors book at the Eric Kitchen dinner. I wrote "We can only aspire." I know a great photographer when I see one - and a total gentleman too.

Witches Burn... Got a nice email thanking me for my comments, but hey - credit where it's due

I saw her throughout the week and I have to give credit to this lass for winning the Ladies trophy. She beat the reigning Ladies World Champion - Iris Kramer and also Maria Conway. Donna's a tiny wee lass who you'd never think could hike a bike round the Scottish for six days, but she did. Not only that, but she was always cheerful and had time for a laugh and a bit of banter. She does, however, need some work on her press presentation
  10. The winker (deliberate typo) who scraped my car, but drove on without leaving a note saying they'd hit me. I always follow the rules that were set down years ago regarding parking at sections - always get behind the white line if there is one or ensure your car is totally off the road. Given where my car was parked over the week and the height of the scrape it was almost certainly a van (and a filthy white one at that) and therefore almost certainly one of the "support vehicles" travelling round and therefore a Trials person who hit it - which makes it pretty disappointing that they didn't have the balls to admit to it.
  11. Agree 100% on all counts. Dougie grabbing the mic was spot on and the applause reflected the sentiment! Apparently he even asked Grimbo if it was his first time riding. As much as I don't want to massage the ego of The Moff, he would be far better at it than Moses is
  12. Why wait for the book? Bid for the prints! Bet they go for a few quid...
  13. I believe it will be available as a limited edition.
  14. Think you're being a bit unfair on the pie-meister there! Putting clips of him and Dougie on the same post isn't really like for like! I reckon Jake has done incredibly well. He was totally ******* by the second day and told me so, but kept going and wound up picking up a first class award. All credit to him.

Has the Dabster ever attended the Scottish even as a spectator? Serious question as I don't think you have and you are missing an absolutely fantastic week. Get your a*** up here
  17. This all seems to have been a bit of a storm in a teacup. The press are reporting everything back to normal. Certainly plenty tankers leaving Grangemouth.
  18. I've tried three times to make contact with these guys to promote them not only on TC, but also through my involvement with the Subaru community and have had no luck I have donated on behalf of TC, but could do so much more if only I could get in touch with them

    Tc Curry Night

It's becoming a bit of a tradition that some of the TC regulars get together one night in Ft. Will for a curry and a few . There's a good curry house on the High Street. Tuesday night is proposed for this year. If anybody fancies it, drop me a PM so I have an idea of numbers to book.
  21. Is that what that was? I just saw something fly and some guy execute an awesome catch!

    Spot Yourself?

Split this off from the main US GP topic as it's not really on-topic. One thing I will say about you guys is I've never seen a more enthusiastic crowd. The cheering ALL riders, regardless of nationality really helps create a great atmosphere. It was the same in 2006 and in Duluth in 2005. It's not like that anywhere else - and boy, do you lot love Fujigas! BTW, anybody here get one of his gloves?
  23. I've never felt safer when flying than I did today. I had not one, but two parachutes in my case
  24. That's me just home. Good to see some of our stateside guys again and copemech's cactus juice is as good as it was in '06 Special thanks must go to Paul Thistle and Brian R. With no Jake and no Eric it was down to me to do ALL the photography for our press commitments. Without those guys shuttling me about there is no way I could have achieved it. Thanks guys Now I'm off to sleep for a fortnight or at least until the Pre-65 on Friday...
