    John Smeaton, the baggage handler who tackled the fools and who appeared on TV has become a cult hero here in Scotland. A website has even been set up for him www.johnsmeaton.com with a view to setting up a fund to buy him 1000 pints. That target has now been passed. Only the Scots will understand this, but it is sheer class

    It might have sunk in now, but I think both the video and the brief interview show that at the time he was just so overwhelmed he wasn't 100% with it! Promised to hook up with him and Noel again in Poland so we'll get an update next weekend.

    Full Youth results now up. They are as I said. Jack was 8th.

    Right, these are PROVISIONAL and UNOFFICIAL although they very rarely change, but according to the big screen in the arena the final result was: 1. Pat Smage - 11 2. Alfredo Gomez - 17 3. Ross Danby - 33

    No - WITH him. Patrick had a 4 point lead over Gomez at the end of the 1st lap.

    Internet is fine. Just awaiting final results from the youth, but it's looking like you could lose a considerable amount of money...

    He's classed as a guest rider so his results don't count in the Championship. It would be kind of crazy to come all this way and not be given the opportunity to ride.

    Andorra is always a good Trial. The downside is the distance it is from Barcelona and the crap road up. Other than that, yup I'd recommend it. As I've said before, Spa features too much man-made stuff for my liking.
