Telecat, We were there and had a brilliant day out. We were impressed with the trial - For spectators, it was about as good as it gets. I'm sure the sport would gain much more publicity and support if all events could be as spectator friendly. Thanks.

Hi Leggins, isn't tagging only useful for proving ownership ? Personally, I recon if the bikes gone then you're not gonna see it again. Better to stop em taking it in the first place.

Cheers Guys. When I read AtomAnts first reply, I thought "DOH, it's obvious". Then when I read BikeDudes reply I understood my Lads confusion.

Eurosport have been showing all the rounds, I've tried to keep a thread up to date with all the dates/times. I've just posted details of the next one. I'm sure they have not shown any repeats for any of the rounds yet. For the Indoor Champs earlier this year, they did repeat many if not all of them after the final round.

Sorry, I got my Round numbers mixed up in previous posts (I thought USA and Japan were 2 rounds each). Anyway, Eurosport are scheduling .... Round 4 Japan (day 2?) on 23rd June at 18:30 on ES2

Hi Grantmac, I've got 2 1997 Technos and both had bad clutch drag. Stripped down the clutch and found the 'arms' of the clutch cage had worn groves in them. This makes the clutch stick. I carefully filed out the groves and both bikes are dramatically improved. Downside is that there's increased noise (clutch rattle). Hope this helps.

Hi all, Thanks for all the advice. Clearly there's confusion with the wider tyres and rim sizes especially 'cos I wasn't sure if the rims were original (bought the bike second hand). So I decided to visit my local(ish) shop at the weekend. After a few visits (in the end with the rim in my hand) we established that the 20x2.5 Creepies would definitely not go on so we went for Max Daddies. My lad is happy and my wallet not depleted. Thanks again.

Eurosport stuffed it again! Todays scheduled showing of Round 3 was over an hour early, my VCR worked reliably and taped soccer .... bummer. For what it's worth, They're still billing Round 4 on Friday 9th June at 18:30 and Round 5 (Japan) on 14th June at 17:30.

Hi, I've just bought my lad a used Saracen 2 zero MAD (if that makes a difference??). It needs new tyres and thought I'd ask for some advice. Which should I buy (He's only 9 so I guess the cheapest? but is that wise?) What should I expect to pay ? Any advice on where to buy them (we're between Leeds and Bradford, West Yorks) ? The current tyres say 20 inch but someone told me we need 19inch on the rear. Looking on the internet there seems to be both. I presume we need 20inch. True ? The widths seem odd, the bike has 2.125 on the front and 2.25 on the rear. Are these standard sizes ? If I can't/don't match these widths, what do recommend I go for and would I need new inner tubes ? Any help/advice appreciated. Thanks, Richard.
