Captured my my friend and riding buddy, nice video of our fun this weekend, raising money for a great cause too! ENJOY!
-
Larry would go out of his way to help. That is the best lesson he could teach any of us. Ride on, my friend.

Indeed, great service and staff! Well done!
-
Might as well get everyone's opinion on this... My carb is probably beat, and thinking about getting a new one, rather than a rebuild. Thoughts?
Thanks!

UPDATE: Got the time to mount some new tires, finish putting things back together and getting this Can-Am 310 running again! The HIRO seems to love to start and a quick test ride around the yard proves she stills chugs nicely. Waiting on a new front brake cable, then will give her a solid tryout!!! ENJOY!

More paint, more pretty! Next up? New tires, fork seals and see if this beast runs!
-
A little paint and some patience... Still lots to do, but my Can-Am project is coming along nicely. More photos to follow, once I find the time to do the work! So happy to find such a shiny piston in this Hiro motor!!!
-
This better? Got my Fantic yesterday and today I clean...
-
I must have been a VERY good boy this year... Thanks, Santa!
-
Dear Santa,
Please bring me riding skills for Christmas. Or new boots, as I've worn out these touching the ground so much...
-
Have a friend working on this bike and he may be able to help!
-
Well, I finally took some sound advice from this group, spent a few days (months) hunting the globe, but today I swapped out my top triple clamp to move the bars a bit forward. It's not a major change, but I could feel the difference in the first ride around the yard! Amazed how such a small thing can make a big change in the bike's handling.
My thanks to all the smart people out there! Appreciate you sharing your wisdom.
-
I'm in Texas! Come visit and we'll try to ride this thing!!! And Happy Birthday, axulsuv!
-
You could say he's got some extra parts tucked away...
-
Well... did find a new seat still in the bag!
-
Turns out the seller had an extra NOS frame stashed away. And it's NOT hacked up, either!!! So working on a way to get this bike and put it all back together again, nice and proper. Thanks for the advice and encouragement! Two red bike might look nice together!
-
Does the number make any sense? DGM 50453OM
Was told it's off the frame...
-
About $1,000 shipped. Not cheap, at least for me. Patience is a virtue I am working on... And with all the shared wisdom around here, I am starting to get the feeling there are better bikes out there just waiting for me. Plus, I still have my Can-Am 240! And I just thought all the cool kids were missing frame bottoms!
-
Was almost ready to buy yet another bike, this time a Fantic 240! But then a very observant Italian friend spotted the frame cut away under the motor.
Run away from this bike, or still worth the effort? My thanks for your wisdom!
-
When you have too much time on your hands, you break out a wire wheel and start stripping paint! Decided to see how a natural metal pipe would look on this bike. I kinda like it!
-
Decided to polish the cases this weekend! All shiny for the next ride!!!
-
Might need to measure the piston, just to be sure. I sent this info to an Ossa friend of mine and perhaps he can help. Will keep you posted! Pretty Ossa, for sure!
-
Welcome! Photos always help. Just because we all enjoy looking at these old bikes...
