I currently have a 16 300 evo. My friend has a 280 trs and i cant pinch it off him enough, i absolutely love the feel of it. Super smooth, brilliant grip and feels like a push bike in comparison to the beta. It has a dellorto carb and is far more reliable than the finicky keihin. I will be changing my beta for one in the new year. Id also like to add that i have ridden each of all the latest bikes and for me (clubman) it is the best of the bunch

Msm are specialists but you must have squeaky clean driving history, no points, claims, etc I got my mine insured through carol nash in the end. But its getting very hard to find cover on trials bikes now

Ye its from riding, i always dry out airbox and clean carb after every ride and wash. Plug is still in as iv sometimes had to drain airbox mid trial. Iv seen the plastic covers but wondered if bike would get enough air if fitted with one. Cant understand how my bike is letting water in when most people with betas i speak to have never had an issue

I always run tape on seat cover joint. Iv siliconed around mudguard joint and exhaust hanger, iv also put fish tank filter material over top of shock and still water getting in......

My 2016 evo 2t is getting water in the airbox and then getting into carb causing it to get dirt into jets. Then bike runs rough. Iv tried a few things to stop it but with little success. Any tips are welcome, surely theres a few ssdt riders out there that know how to water proof a bike??

I dont remember an issue first ever time riding it but that could of been down to excitment haha definitely been an issue since, so id guess its always been there, although it does appear to be getting worse. Other riders have had a go and agree its not right

I have tried a bp5es plug as recommended by local riders, but it made little difference, and felt it rsn slightly cleaner on a bp7es. I havnt tried an iridium plug yet but have on previous bikes and thought very little change. Going to take carb apart AGAIN and see if i can spot anything amiss whilst fitting a 45 pilot

Thanks everyone. Had the bike since October and ridden every week.done first service already. Cleaned carb out numerous times and still no better. Tried adjusting air screw which made minimal difference, lifted needle clip to middle position which made it worse, so back to standard settings on carb.it comes with a 48 pilot so iv got a 45 to try in it. Really frustrating as rest of bike is lovely

I have a new 2016 evo 300 2t. Bike runs a little rough off initial throttle, id say first 3rd of rev range. Iv tried adjusting air screw, moving needle clip, couldnt improve, so back to factory settings for now. Has anyone cured this problem, a few riders iv spoke to seem to have same issue

Im open to trying a different make but still want some comfort, has anyone tried the sidi?

I currently have the gaerne oiled boots, such a comfy boot, but after a good soaking they become extremely soft and i nearly ripped my little toe off at the reeth, so has anyone tried the standard gaernes? Are they a little tougher when wet?

My uncle has a 2011 ossa 280, the clutch is very heavy and really spoils the bike, i previously had the same year bike and mine was lovely and light, same as other bikes. Is there a way of lightening it, maybe removing a couple of springs?
