The organising club will need to assign a number to you.
I made the same mistake a few weeks back I ticked an option that made a number allocation mandatory.
As the organiser I could still see the entries that had yet to have a rider number.

I had a year 2000, 290 bought it in 2002 and only sold it in 2021.
I found it OK to ride (I kept it for 19 years!) I am not a good rider at all but found the power smooth.

I regularly use a Citreon Berlingo MPV for trials, sometimes with camping gear as well, mines a 2009, a flat loading area, once the rear seats are removed with a drop where the rear passenger legs go, which the front wheel drops into!
The rear seats are rarely used these days.
Lots of rings to attach straps to keep the bike in place, I just have to use a strap to compress the front forks a little to get it in, I have a 2018 Beta 300 and Gas Gas Pampera both fit in (I've not tried both at the same time)
@gazzaecowarrior love the kitchen pod

I've been using a waterproof 'work' jacket from screwfix, not as stylish as the trials jackets but a lot cheaper.
Not gore-tex but it does seem to breath ok and I do not get too sweaty!
-
Really enjoyed that, a good mixture of riding and the typical chat/banter you get waiting for sections etc. a good advert for what clubman trials is like.
-
Its worth taking the choke piston/jet out and checking its not stuck.
Imagine not checking the carb after the bike is stuck in the garage for 6 months during lock down before the first trial of the year! Thats what I did!

I'm trials secretary for Normandy MCC we have trials around the Guildford area, our club trials are self marking and ideal if you are just starting out, further than EDMCC but check out our website www.normandymcc.co.uk

We have had to cancel the Goodwin Shield Pre-67 Trial planned for February 25th at Bagshot Test Track due to issues with the land agent.
We will try to have the trial at a different venue later in the year.
It is very frustrating to have the same land pulled twice in as many months.

The Derek Hookey and Pete Simmons TVTC and STAR Group Trial to be held this Sunday 14th January has had to be cancelled due to an issue with the Land Agency.
Our apologies to all of the riders entered.

Many thanks for the various comments.
The event is a centre championship, which we have run for many years, and usually have a good entry, with riders happy to pre-enter. Yes, in previous years we have used MOD land and the the steep increase in costs was a factor in changing venue.
I guess it is the venue that has put riders off, but as has been mentioned above, it can be used for traditional events. I have ridden there in a group trial in December (and I am not very good), we also ran a group event there in January which was well supported with a beginner/wobbler class including electric bikes, but if other riders do not agree then we will have to take that in to consideration when looking for a venue, which has also been mentioned is getting difficult in the south east.
We do run many club trials which do not require pre-entry, where we leave the number of entries to chance, last July I set a trial out which had a total entry of 7 riders including me!
For this event we did not want to put the effort in to set out a good trial with a descent amount of sections only for a handfull of riders to take part.

I bought a plastic tank from Martin 18 months ago which had been painted, whoever did it did a good job as it seems to be lasting well, and I fall off quite a few times!
